Not enough.

i thought about writing to you the other day. though, it’s going into my messages i’ll never send because i know for a fact that you don’t think about me anymore and i’m okay with that. i think it’s good that you let me go – even if it was quickly. 

but today, sitting in one of my lectures i was missing a friend. i was missing you and all the other people who have come and gone in my life. with my last failed relationship not too long ago i kept on thinking if there was something wrong with me and how do i wish i could turn back time and live in the small interval moments of happiness and stay there for a while. 

i miss being held. 

how important is human touch? you never really realize it until it’s gone. when you wake up on the other side of the bed and you realize no one is sleeping next to you and your absence is creating a hole in my chest and i wish you were here and i wish you never left. i’m starting to forget your scent. when someone walks beside me and the familiar nostalgic scent that reminds me of you, i always want to think it’s you or the ghost of you and i know that getting my hopes up will only ruin me in the end but it’s nice to think that you’re there, close to me, and maybe that you miss me too. 

i am so lonely. it’s starting to be unbearable and i’m scared that i’m slowly getting bad again. i miss my friend. and i hope that wherever you are, whoever you’re with, cherish you. you deserve it. 

i’m sorry for how long it took me to let things go.
