it's so hard to get back into the flow of posting anywhere... especially my art half the time tbh, especially with how things have become with twt being ruined (I refuse to post my art there now and mainly lurk here and there) but it's also outside that still hard getting used to posting anything here on tumblr or even bluesky half the time... I have no clue how to get back into doing stuff like this and just feel like I'm disconnected from everything outside smaller groups and just my friends on discord and whatnot... I do miss interacting with the aoex fandom more and the rinshi fandom around here ;o; I hope I can get back to it all.. eventually.

๐ธ๐ฅ RINSHI RECREATION EVENT ๐ฅ๐ธ
Since this year marks the 15th anniversary of Ao no Exorcist/Blue Exorcist, this event is being held to celebrate our love for this series, for both the manga and the anime alike. We want to encourage our lovely fandom to show their love, as we finally see the scenes weโve been waiting many years to see animated, and as the mangaโs plot thickens with every new chapter, by recreating these scenes in their own way. With your own style, your own vision, classic scenes or brand new ones, however many you want - itโs all up to you how you wish to participate!
Originally, this was just going to be an event to redraw the โDance With Meโ RinShi scene, but with all the amazing scenes we have now seen animated and voice acted since the initial release of Shimane Illuminati, now with Beyond the Snow and Blue Night Saga, it felt better to make it something we can enjoy for EVERY RinShi scene out there. And because art isnโt just drawing, everything is allowed: drawing, writing, graphic designs/edits, cosplayers, knitting, you name it, itโs in! Go wild, recreate the RinShi scenes however you like, and more than anything, have fun sharing with the community!
The only rules we have for the event are as follows:
Must be a RinShi scene
Use the tag #RINSHIDANCEWITHME2025
The event will be held all year long! It will end on January 1st, 2026! Have fun!

When you say a fandom is dead, itโs a bit of a blow to people who are still producing and enjoying work for that fandom. Youโre basically saying what theyโre doing doesnโt matter, doesnโt count, which might discourage them from continuing to participate.
If one person is creating content, the fandom isnโt dead.
If one person is consuming content, the fandom isnโt dead.
If two friends are chatting on skype about their OTPs, thatโs fandom.
If someone doodles drawings of their favorite characters on a napkin, thatโs fandom.
Just because someone is producing content for one fandom doesnโt mean they have to leave another.
Not every fandom can be the big, new, shiny and popular thing.
Not every fandom *should* be the big, new, shiny, and popular thing.
Itโs okay to have small, tight-knit fandoms. They can be just as fulfilling and entertaining as the big ones.

online communities are so strange because people slip away so easily. you can be on here for years, folding people you've never met into the fabric of your daily life, and then they disappear, leaving only ghost posts scattered across tumblr behind. or their blog stays dormant, for weeks, months, years, until you're only still following them because you remember that they love sunflowers or they were kind to you when they didn't have to be or the last thing they posted was sad and raw and you still worry about them sometimes.
and sometimes they come back when you least expect it, years later, even, and there's this sudden rush of relief like there you are, there you are, even though you barely knew each other.
there's a strange kind of love to it. i don't know you and i want to hold your hand across miles and time zones and oceans. i can still see the imprint of you in this community you left. you don't anyone will notice or care when you're gone, but we notice and we care and we wish you well.

Remember when back in 2017 we had our first Bonizumo Week? Admin Grace and admin Devin did a fantastic job at organizing this event and now after 7 years I humbly take the iniative to revive this tradition.
So- We are happy to announce Bonizumo Week 2024ย will be happeningย October 14th โ 20th on both Tumblr and Twitter!
Bonizumo week is an event to celebrate theย relationship betweenย Ryuji โBonโ Suguro & Izumo Kamiki from theย series Blue Exorcist.
In span of the last 7 years these two became quite close in manga and shared many wholesome moments together. One of their most shippy scenes is also about to get animated hopefully - and we hope it'll inspire you to join our celebration this October.
Let's do our best to make the event fun! The post with more info (like prompts, rules and guidelines) is already in the drafts. Please, stay tuned!
