my friends are all out of town/have evil parents/have work and I feel lonely. Which is weird. When did I get a social life

somewhere along the way “money can buy happiness because it can buy safety, security, and treatments for both mental and physical health” became “celebrities can’t feel negative emotions or struggle with their mental health because they’re rich and have access to everything” and it just…doesn’t at all make sense

Legitimately considered calling dcfs on a mom in the store today bc she spent 2.5 hrs using her 5 year old as a decoy while she stole a bunch of shit, and that child (who just desperately wants attention and stimulation) absolutely destroyed the store. The mom was an actual demon from hell to the child, saying horrible things to her. Meanwhile the kid is glomming on to anyone who gives them a smile and takes them seriously. It's not her fault that she was left alone in a craft store for so long, and has a terrible mom who doesn't give a shit about her. Despite all of the damage done in the store, none of us were mad at the kid. All of us were ready to beat the mom.
