The JELLYFISH FESTIVAL is here!!

Had this one in mind for a long time so here it finally is - another big OC collab post, this time to celebrate beautiful Spring and the return of the Stinging Red Jellyfish to Springfield!

Of course we have the cotillion with a stage for the musically inclined, the dancefloor to show some moves, refreshments, and the beach with the stars of the show drying under the sun. <3

Some background info about Angel, she is from England and moved to Springfield a few years ago, she doesn't have a full backstory because if she was a real character i think it would be a reoccurring joke that no one knows her backstory or why she ended up in Springfield, or she changes the story each time because she wants people to stop asking her about it. She works at the dmv and shes quite shy so she doesn't really speak to a lot of people, but she is friends with Patty (also, shes a closeted lesbian and Patty is one of the only people who knows).

As for her relationship with Lindsey, when they first met it was very 'love at first sight' for Angel to the point where shes a bit obsessed with her despite Lindsey not being interested in her. It's like Angel is so clearly in love with her but Lindsey is very oblivious. When they met Lindsey gave Angel her business card which has her number on it, so Angel calls her wanting to speak to her and learn more about her, but Lindsey thinks shes trying to make some kind of business proposal. Once Lindsey realised Angel admired her so much, she probably took advantage of how much of a people pleaser Angel is (and tbh Angel would do anything for Lindsey) by getting her to help with.. whatever job she had that week.

When they eventually start dating (i haven't decided how Angel would confess to her yet) i think Lindsey would start showing a (slightly) more kind and caring side of herself, but she definitely would like how much Angel adores her, as for Angel i think Lindsey would help her become more confident and to stand up for herself more.

I present to you: the floating ao3 comment box!

From what I've seen, a big problem for many people is that once you reach the comments at the bottom of a fic, your memory of it miraculously disappears. Anything you wanted to say is stuck ten paragraphs ago, and you barely remember what you thought while reading. This fixes that!

I'll give a little explanation on the features and how it works, but if you want to skip all that, here's the link.

The extension is visible as a small blue box in the upper left corner.

(Side note: The green colouring is not from the extension, that's me.)

If you click on it, you open a comment box window at the bottom of your screen but not at the bottom of the fic. I opened my own fic for demonstrative purposes.

The website also gives explanations on how exactly it functions, but I'll summarize regardless.

insert selection -> if you highlight a sentence in the fic it will be added in italics to the comment box

add to comment box -> once you're done writing your comment, you click this button and the entire thing will automatically copied to the ao3 comment box

delete -> self explanatory

on mulitchapter fics, you will be given the option to either add the comment to just the current chapter or the entire fic

The best part? You can simply close the window the same way you opened it and your progress will automatically be saved. So you can open it, comment on a paragraph, and then close it and keep reading without having the box in your face.
