I’m not necessarily one for conversation starters - HOWEVER, I am one for telling a good embarrassing story or fact about myself. Here’s a good one, a rather fresh one for you... As of about two days ago, I’ve discovered I’ve been watering a plastic plant for approximately...one year. Yeah, one year. Mind you, I don’t know if I’m just not observant or up in the clouds but you would think I would have noticed that this plant hasn’t grown or changed in a YEARS WORTH OF TIME. In my defense, it’s a bloody succulent so of course those don’t change too much but my god. The plant was a gift from an old friend but never once did they tell the thing wasn’t even real! Any who... That’s my embarrassing Flo fact of the day for you. 

EXACTLY! I looked at this bloody thing and it was so dead on, I thought -- there is NO way this thing is fake. THEY PUT FAKE DARK SPOTS ON IT! It’s good to know that the fake plant industry has more than one victim and I’m not the only one. I’ve reached a point I have to touch the dirt and smell the thing to make sure it’s the real deal. I will be faked no longer. I swear by it! Lord knows what else we’ve been fooled by and still haven’t discovered yet. 

Managed to pick up a groin injury this season, thought physio would help get things sorted however ended up needing a small procedure. Thankfully, everything went smoothly and I’ve been back on the training pitch since. This season really hasn’t been a good one, not but just for me but for Chelsea in general and so I can only hope I can get back to full fitness to make next season better — thing is, will this be with Chelsea though? Hate talking about my contracts and all of that, however I’m just as oblivious as you as to what’s going to happen and where I’m going to be. I know what I’d like to do going forwards, but it all depends on if my vision is other people’s vision too. For the time being, I’m getting back to full fitness and thinking of way’s I can enjoy the summer since the last game of the season is next weekend. First starting with Carrie’s belated birthday celebrations, who else is here? Wanna grab a drink, do something fun, prank the birthday girl? I have so much concern and confusion going on in my mind. The groin injury was just a lot to unpack and suddenly there's sports involved -- Chelsea is a team...? or a person? Also, fitness! I can't believe you're dealing with a groin issue and eager to get back to fitness! That's actually incredible! I have many, many questions -- but let's start with the elephant in the room...How on earth does one get a groin issue!? What is the sport you play? I'm so curious!

I just got everything unpacked and now I have to repack things for this trip. But I'm excited for it, and hopefully not the only one that is excited for Nashville. I will take volunteers to help me pack up though if someone wants to do that. Also the name is Colin and I promise I do have both hands. ( @hfrpstarters)

Oof, good luck with that -- packing is always the worst part of a trip. I know for certain that I'm going to be struggling on my end as well. I can't tell you how many times I've over packed. I think for a three day trip I once packed my luggage and two backpacks. It may not seem for much but I *insisted* I needed like four pairs of outfits for each day in case I didn't like any of the outfits I had on hand...I'm a bit picky like that.

i hope everyone is just as excited to hit up nashville as i am. i swear i've had my cowgirl boots packed away, collecting dust for far too long now... please tell me that's all very real fashion over there, and i'm not gonna look silly? because i really do have to wear them. ( @hfrpstarters )

Well that definitely makes two of us, love. Because I packed mine as well, because if you don't think I'm going in the entire get up - you're dead wrong. We can go down this cowgirl boot wearing ship together! What else are you hoping to do in Nashville? I feel like all I'm going to end up doing is eating to my heart's content!
