It's then that it sinks in for Rogue, just what they've done -- what he's done. The bar is so quiet you could hear a pin drop. She sets the bottle down, looking out to the selection of them across the way. Eyes ghost over Johnny's bottle on the shelf.

there's  a  silence  as  johnny  tries  to  think  about  what  to  say  to  rogue.  after  all,  would  she  even  believe  it  ??  where  would  he  even  begin  with  alt's  involvement  ??  it  was  a  mistake  to  come  here...  but  he  needed  to  see  her.

sunglasses  are  removed  before  hands  hold  her  head.  everything  felt  like  it  was  all  catching  up  to  her  --  him  ??  johnny  wasn't  sure  anymore.  this  wasn't  just  him  piloting  for  a  small  amount  of  time  anymore.  this  felt  different.  weird.  strange.  not  like  the  past  few  weeks  that  he  had  grown  used  to.

@floraprin SAID: the path of patrons of the afterlife basically clears for her as she stumbles towards rogue's box... news of what had happened at arasaka was already spreading. a lone woman taking down an entire tech company... rogue was a smart woman and would put 2 and 2 together. soon, she'd piece the puzzle that this wasn't exactly a, either... "hey, ro... gonna finish that drink? really need one after the night im havin'."

Arasaka in chaos; an all-too familiar tune that she's heard too many times to count. And whenever that chaos arises, it's always the usual suspects. Rogue's head whips around from the television, watching as a familiar merc walks through the crowd, and she feels herself tense up. The Hell is A doing here? Whatever the fuck it is she needed at Arasaka, if she was followed, if she brings fire here…! And then they talk.

hand  pulls  out  a  cigarette  as  she  takes  a  seat.  words  are  silent  as  a  free  hand  is  trying  to  find  a  lighter,  but  it  seems  like  there  wasn't  one  on  her  person.  ironic...  how's  that  for  a  last  laugh  ?  hands  hold  onto  the  bud  nonetheless.

Understatement of the fucking century, standing here now -- acting like he has any merit of existing. It's been some kind of ride for Johnny Silverhand, or what was left of him; coming across all the suffering that he'd dealt, all the things and people he'd willingly let die. This was the last thing he wanted to do, get back at Arasaka; destroy Smasher, destroy Mikoshi, destroy everything. Make sure something like this never happened again! Make sure… something like him never happened again. That's six fucking things but that's besides the point.

Johnny knows corpos. They'll come back like some capitalistic hydra. It'll stop 'em for now, but won't deter them forever. He can only hope that… hope. That's a fucking word. Her fault. He blames her, especially for making this shit mushy.

that's  what  she  told  dex.  the  last  thing  she  wanted  was  to  be  forgotten...  but  what  could  she  do  now  ?  she  had  made  her  promise  to  johnny  that  she'd  take  a  bullet  for  him.  this  was  the  bullet.  ara  was  going  to  die  anyway.
