People are wild

I've cried ALL DAY. If I look at his picture, I cry. I don't know why he's got such a choke hold on me, I barely know him. I think it was the intimacy that's made me too attached. I told him I don't do that without being a partner with someone. This is why. He said he'd be my partner and he lied. So.

I've been sad all day. Crying so much. The only thing keeping me happy is a Jamaican grandma on Instagram and Lonnie Donegan's music.

He's meant to be DJing at the next Telstar Club. Which he said will apparently be another reason for me to come along next time. Said we should hang out we should see each other more. I should go to his place more. We should listen to records and watch Telstar..

But, no, he didn't mean any of it.

I don't know why im writing this here. I just know a lot of people won't see it and I need to vent about it.

Ah well. Sometimes you just have to move on 💔

I also met up with that guy who ghosted me. That, uh.. Went well..

I love this man to bits, it's such a tragedy to know how he passed and at such a young age.

His music and legacy lives on in our memories and I'll forever care about and love him 💖

I can't wait to visit 304 Holloway Road on Sunday, the place where this creative mind concocted such marvellous works of art, and kick-started so many wonderful bands and singers careers.

Without Joe Meek, we wouldn't have some of my favourite bands. Screaming Lord Sutch And The Savages, The Tornados, Heinz, The Moontrekkers, John Leyton, The Honeycombs, The Outlaws, and (to some extent) even Chas and Dave.

So for that, Joe, I thank you. And, I hope you're resting in eternal peace.
