Do you respond to comments, why or why not?

Sometimes? Honestly I’m the worst at comment replies but I cherish each comment as they come in. I don’t know why but replying to comments makes me anxious, which is silly because I appreciate each one so much.

What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

Probably either Diamonds are Forever (dramione) or The Gilded Cage (theomione)

Do you write crossovers? If so what’s the craziest one you’ve written?

Nope

Have you ever received hate on a fic?

I’m not sure I would call it hate but I’ve been really lucky to only ever get a few critical comments.

Do you write smut? If so what kind?

LOL. Yes. Almost exclusively. Generally graphic and emotional smut.

Have you ever had a fic stolen?

I have. One of my Riverdale stories was copied word for word with find and replace used for nothing more than names then posted in another fandom. When this happened, I split my old Riverdale works off and added orphaned to an old penname.

Have you ever had a fic translated?

I have! A few different ones from a few different translators. It’s always so flattering.

What’s your all time favorite ship?

Gun to my head I’d probably have to say Dramione with honorable mentions to Panville, Parkweasel, Drarry, Bughead, and Delena.

What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

I left two WIPs in Riverdale I don’t ever see myself finishing.

What are your writing strengths?

I’ve been told I’m an atmospheric writer. I think capturing emotions and showing more than telling are two of my strengths.

What are your writing weaknesses?

Dialogue. Hands down. I can write 2k of description in two hours then spend the next four agonizing and picking at the dialgoue.

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I’ve never done it and I’m hesitant to because I know interpretation can vary widely.

What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Riverdale

What’s your favorite fic that you’ve written?

I’m not sure I could name just one so here are a few and the reasons for picking them - I Want You All to Myself (co-written with @roseharpermaxwell) - I had never written first person or slash and I admire Rose’s way with words so I was intimidated as hell but the final product, even though it’s one of my least read works, is something I’m really proud of. - The 13th Moon (co-written with @grangerdangerfics) - This fic is really atmospheric and written for one of my very favorite people in the entire world (@pacific-rimbaud). For a birthday fic it’s a little morbid but I love the world we created for Pansy and Neville in this. - Charmed (co-written with @inadaze22) - This fic was the first time ina and I tried to write together and it was just the best experience. We’re really in tune with one another and we were live writing at the same time and editing over one another. I have such a soft spot for our collabs. 🥺 Honestly, I could probably list all the birthday and gift fics I’ve written because they’re all special for their own reasons. Honorable mention to On Nights Like These and Diamonds are Forever for stretching my legs with plot twists. I also have a few non-linear fics I’ve written that were challenging but definitely left me with a sense of accomplishment.

I used to but the overwhelming amount of comments are fantastic but I legit would get no writing done if I responded to each. 😞😔

I don’t write a lot of angsty endings, so maybe Broken’s. It was bittersweet. Oh and Seven Days in April was bittersweet as well.

Nope

HAHAHAHA yes. Plenty. Something on every single thing I’ve ever written. Can’t please everyone. 😊

Lololol yes. Prob more smut since returning to writing. Ina apparently is in her smut era. Mostly emotional smut and then there’s Forces smut which is just smut? That’s all I got.

Yep. Tale as old as time.

I have! Almost all of my fics are available in a different language. Its incredible.

Dramione with honorable mentions to Panville, Parkweasel, Drarry, Sterek, Merthur, Hansy, Arthur/Eames, and several others. I fandom hop. A lot.

What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

I have plans to finish all my WIPs.

What are your writing strengths?

Prose and plot. My style is sorta undergoing changes as I settle back into writing other projects outside of MoaM, which has a specific feel, so we’ll see what I land on in my post-MoaM era.

What are your writing weaknesses?

Don’t really like action that much. Also I’m wordy as hell. 😅

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I’ve never done it outside of well known phrases and my eyes twitches about it everytime I think of it.

What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Harry Potter

What’s your favorite fic that you’ve written?

Hmm. Prob Singularity, written while experimenting with a more poetic style. I’m so proud of it.

1. Charmed, co-written with @dreamsofdramione. I had never written anything with someone else and the experience was memorable. It’s really easy when you gel with someone.

2. Anchors in a Storm. My first dhr fic since I started writing again. I was a wreck writing it.

3. can’t end this without mentioning Measure of a Man, it’s prob the most intense planning/writing I’ve ever done. I’m endlessly proud of myself for it.

Goodness, how does one figure this out? Just add them all up? Let me see... Oh, found it. 832,110. Meep. I have definitely written over 1M words if you added the stories at FFN.

Do drabbles count? Because if yes, then way back in the Before Times, I wrote some drabbles for Pride & Prejudice, Alias, Lost, and maybe Lord of the Rings? But in terms of more story, just Harry Potter. I’ve also written a Divergent one-shot that I’ve never posted.

Rushing Back is number 1! I didn’t see that coming. Hindsight Ways and Means Sideways (collab with @indreamsink) Heart in the Whole

Do you respond to comments, why or why not?

I do, but not regularly. I’ll get on kicks where I’ll answer a slew and then.... forget. Oops. But I still intend to; in fact, I’ll probably go do some after this post! I respond because I want every reviewer to know that I appreciate their time in reading and leaving me a note about it. I’ve been conditioned to gauge interest by reviews (because when I started, that was about all we had), so they are extra special to me now.

I don’t have any WIPs that need finishing really. I’ve got one that’s posted 4/5 chapters, working on the last one. Now am I ever going to post my older stories on AO3? That’s the real question.

I don’t have any idea. LOL

Too many words? I wish I could write really complex stories. With layers and side-plots and interwoven things. But I think mine are generally pretty straight-forward.

I’ve done it. When I lived in France for six months, I got somewhat familiar with the language. I also asked French people in fandom for help. But I definitely don’t do it often, and I think that was the only other language? Except a Bulgarian word for Viktor to call Hermione. Ha.

Does writing stories in my head count? If yes, then Lord of the Rings. If it has to be on paper, then Harry Potter.
