Economic class relations continue to exist and colour the particular politics of individual members of a given race-class or gender-class. It's not an issue of "experiences" or "identity" but of objective class interests. A bourgeois racialised man will always have more to gain by siding with horrendously racist fellow bourgeoisie than he ever will with siding with proletarian members of his own racialised group. His power and wealth, his immunity from the oppression and subjugation which might normally characterise his racialised group, comes from his continued participation in the system which actually produces that oppression. He may benefit from paying some lip service to the ideals of anti-racism but when push comes to shove, his options are to protect himself and the system of racial capitalism or to side against the system and lose all of his wealth and power.

We can amend our initial demand and say allies must "listen to proletarian X voices" but this itself assumes that no proletarian is ever convinced by bourgeois ideology, that all proletarians equally understand the nature of their own oppression, that they don't have any other relationships which might obligate them to take a reactionary position on a certain issue. You can add as many qualifiers to the core demand of allyship as you want, but it remains a fundamentally lazy and politically incoherent demand. If you want to understand your own oppression and the oppression of others, you need an actual ideological framework that lets you understand it. You need to really analyse every form of oppression out there to understand it. Of course, you should learn from the experiences of people who suffer under a particular dialectic you benefit from or exist outside of, but you must still evaluate all claims and statements made in order to produce a coherent and politically actionable understanding that lets you truly work with others to abolish it. In short, you need Marxism - allyship is not a substitution.
