“He’s…Virgil’s…coming back, right, Dee?” Remus broke the silence and stared at the other side with a pleading look. His dark makeup around his eyes was smeared with dried tears. 

Deceit looked away from the other side- he couldn’t stand the desperate look on Remus’s face- and instead focused his attention to the door where Virgil had walked out with promises of return on his lips.

Virgil was part of their strange family. The sides banished from the other ‘light’ sides of Thomas. The three went through everything. He was their family through whatever Thomas went through. They were family, however unsettling or weird the other sides thought they were.

“Why wouldn’t he?” Deceit said finally, forcing his attention from the door. He gave Remus a weak, cracked smile and the silence in the mindscape continued.

Hey! I cried like three times while making this so I’m making everyone suffer. Has this been done before? Probably but oh well. The last panel with Virgil is kinda like the past I guess??? That’s why Virgil’s not colored I guess. It made sense when I was making it
