She came quickly and sudden. Like a long, warm hug when you needed it most. Her skirt rippled and she danced and twirled with the sand nestled between her toes and the waves came to kiss her. Her tranquil blue eyes reminded me that everything was as it should be.

His arms wrapped barricaded around me holding me from slipping again. His auburn hair tickled my cheek as he reminded me that change is okay. His demeanour was infectious and his smile was contagious. As it grew colder he grew warmer.

He was my favourite of all. Hidden from the cold, we nestled together until we became one. He was me and I was him.
