The music was a beautiful instrumental (or at least had very minimal lyrics) and the creator interspersed dialogue from the show throughout the AMV for a more emotional impact. The ones I most vividly remember is Steven’s “What do you know about my mom. I didn’t even get to know my mom!” from when he was talking to Lars, dialogue from Rose’s video to Steven, and also Amethyst’s “I never asked to be made” line from when she was fighting with Pearl. The musical climax of the AMV (though I’m unsure about this) was shots from when they were firing Rose’s cannon on the beach where everything was washed in red.

This AMV was created before Steven Universe ended (meaning before the movie and future as well). I want to say this MV was one of the most popular ones on Youtube when SU was airing, probably passing over a million views. I think there was a lot of content revolving around Rose and Steven because the AMV came out around the first half of SU, but I’m not too sure. If you have any details that you know about this, I'd really appreciate it; it was a very emotional masterpiece that got me through some hard times. (If it's easier, I'll leave my DMs open)

I cannot find the original in full, but there are remnants that prove the original version was very similar but used different clips available at the time (next two bullet points)

I think the best bet to obtain the original would be to ask dotdot3polkadots to also upload the original 2016 version

Long time no see!! I made this blog over a decade ago, and over the years have made so many gifsets and AMVs and everything in between celebrating Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra.

I wanted to come back to share that (surreal as it is) I am now working on the new Avatar show, Avatar: Seven Havens! I am part of the editorial team and have been absolutely loving every minute.

Mostly I wanted to share this as a way to say that dreams are real etc etc. but also, if anyone ever tries to undercut you for being too absorbed in a fandom, just ignore it fr. My love of Avatar propelled me forward on this path. Engaging with fandom can teach you so much, and if your hyperfixation is living in your head rent free and compelling you to make fanart of your own (whether it be art, fic, music, edits, cosplay, whatever). LEAN IN BRO. Let that love fuel you!!! You can do it!!!
