ตอนนี้ App ยังไม่เสร็จแต่ก็ใกล้เสร็จมากๆ แล้ว เหลืออีกแค่ 2-3 ฟังค์ชั่น ที่เหลือก็แค่ประเด็นจุกจิกเล็กๆ น้อยๆ เลยอยากแชร์ความคิดตอนนี้นิดหน่อย

1. การทำ App ควร Simple ที่สุดและปล่อยออกมาให้เร็วที่สุด

ปัญหาของมันคือ ยิ่งเยอะก็ยิ่งมากความ ผมศึกษาลองดูหลายอย่าง พยายามทดลองระบบ Sync ทดลองนู่นนั่นนี่ แต่สุดท้ายมันก็ไม่สามารถปล่อยออกมาได้ในเวอร์ชั่นแรกอยู่ดี เพราะส่วนใหญ่แล้วกินเวลามากเกินไป

เราจึงน่าจะสนใจ Core Function ของเราจริงๆ แล้วปล่อยออกมาก่อน (แบบว่าพอใช้งานได้) ละทิ้งอะไรที่ยังไม่พร้อมออกไปก่อน ให้ App ออกได้เร็วขึ้น แล้วค่อยศึกษาหรือพัฒนาเพิ่มเติมไปภายหลัง เพราะส่วนใหญ่แล้วอะไรที่เราไม่ถนัด มันจะยากมากที่จะออกในเวอร์ชั่นแรก หรือถ้าออกมันก็จะกินเวลาในพัฒนามากๆ

2. ผสานกับข้อ 1 คือ พยายามใช้ Control หรืออะไรที่ตนเองใช้คล่องอยู่แล้ว และควรเลือก Library ที่คนนิยมเพราะมันจะเทพ อย่าพัฒนาเอง

ผมพัฒนาฟังก์ชั่นเอง 2-3 ตัว มีปฏิทินด้านล่าง และระบบ Swipe ซ้าย-ขวาที่สมูทกว่า สุดท้ายแล้ว ก็ต้องยอมแพ้ ถามว่าทำได้ไหมก็ทำได้ แต่รู้เลยว่าถ้าจะให้สมบูรณ์จะกินเวลาเยอะมาก คือ จริงๆ วันเดียวก็ได้ที่ต้องการแล้ว แต่ปัญหาคือมีบั๊กจุกจิกตามมาเป็นพรวน ซึ่งแก้ไม่ได้ง่าย ถ้าให้สมบูรณ์

จริงๆ ก็ไม่ได้คิดว่าจะทำแต่แค่ตอนทำอยากรู้ว่าจะกินเวลานานแค่ไหน ซึ่งพบว่า นาน! (5-7 วัน) ตลอด ซึ่งไม่คุ้ม ยอมที่จะไม่สวย ไม่สวยงามนักที่ใช้ Control คนอื่นหรือ Control มาตรฐาน แต่มันคุ้มเรื่องเวลากว่าชัดเจน

3. พยายามใช้รูปภาพให้น้อย Modern UI/iOS 7 คือ คำตอบ

แม้ในฐานะ Users ผมจะไม่ค่อยชอบ iOS 7 นัก (จริงๆ UI ชอบนะยกเว้นไอค่อน) แต่ในฐานะ Developer แล้ว UI แบบใหม่นี้ลดเวลาในการพัฒนาเยอะมากๆ สีพื้นๆ เล่นกับตัวหนังสือ.. มันสะดวกมากที่ Developer จะปรับแก้ใดๆ

4. เรื่องการตลาดอะไรอย่าไปแคร์มันนัก

เจอปัญหาตามในรูป มีเส้นไม่พึงประสงค์ หลังจากมั่วๆ เอาพบว่า ใช้คำสั่ง

ดูจบแล้ว เป็นตอนที่เจ๋งมากๆ อีกตอน ตอนแรกเห็นกระแสในพันทิป บ่นถึงตอนนี้กันเยอะว่า สู้ 1-5 ตอนแรกไม่ได้ ก็เลยกลัวๆ ว่าจะแป๊ก แต่พอดูกลับเป็นตอนที่ดีมากๆ อีกตอน

ปัญหาที่คนบ่นๆ คือเรื่องพระไผ่ กับเรื่องการตัดต่อแบบรวบรัดแปลกๆ ที่เริ่มเห็นในตอนท้ายตอนที่ 6 (ฉาก Taxi) ต้องยอมรับว่าพอดูจริงๆ ผมว่ามันไม่ได้เป็นจุดอ่อนอะไรเท่าไหร่ แต่รู้สึกได้จริงๆ ว่าตอนนี้เร่งมากๆ มีการตัดต่อฉิบฉับที่สุดแล้ว หนังใช้เพลงเป็นตัวเล่าเรื่องเพื่อที่จะได้เล่าอะไรได้อย่างรวบรัด แต่กลายเป็นว่าออกจะแปลกๆ จากตอน 1-6 ที่ผ่านมา

ผมรู้สึกว่าตอนนี้ประเด็นเยอะมากๆ และผู้กำกับอยากจะยัดหลายๆสิ่งที่ต้องการนำเสนอซะจนดูแน่นเกิน ถ้าลดบางประเด็นไปได้ ก็อยากให้ตัด มันจะดูสมูธกว่านี้ แต่โดยรวมผมว่าโอเคแล้วนะ สนุกและแง่คิดดี แต่แค่ว่ามัน Rock โดดกว่า 6 ตอนที่ผ่านมา

ป่วย… แต่ยังคงทำงานต่อไป (เขียนโปรแกรม) รู้สึกว่าอยากไปทำอย่างอื่นมากกว่า  ชอบที่ทำอยู่ไหมก็ใช่ แต่อยากไปทำอะไรอย่างอื่นอีกเยอะแยะ แต่คงต้องทำต่อไป เป้าหมายยังมีอยู่ Nothing Great Come Easily!

ช่วงนี้เลยพาลนึกถึง Chasing Pavements ของ Adele ขึ้นมา Should I give up or should I keep chasing pavements. Even if it leads nowhere? คือ คงไม่ give up หรอก จะ give up ก็ต่อเมื่อรู้แล้วว่าไม่ไหวจริงๆ แต่ตอนนี้ยังเพิ่งครึ่งทาง ยังไม่ใช่ตอนนี้

Apple added tab bar customization in iOS 5, and now this kind of stuff is trivial. Prior to this it was a huge hack, and not recommended.

Relationship Delete Rules

The problem with %g is that it doesn't have a way to specify the rounding increment (at least, not that I can find).

You can use NSNumberFormatter like this to achieve your result with a number that has an undefined number of decimal places.

When shouldChangeCharactersInRange method is called text field still has an old value and so if its length is 4 you're stuck. Better way to validate input will be to calculate what string you're going to have in a field after the change and check if it is valid:
