A short documentary film about Tyran Hawthorn a photographer and sufferer of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The film explores Tyran's recent exhibition 'Modern Vanitas' which uses surreal pictures of decaying fruit in order to represent the effects of the condition itself.

A group of co-workers are having a casual game of poker when it is robbed by two mysterious men. However, the question is: are these men as mysterious as we think? 

After Fiona, a wealthy woman, hires Sofia to be her live-in maid, Sofia and her sixteen year-old son, Miguel, move into Fiona's guest house. When Fiona's fifteen year-old daughter, Anne, falls under the impression that Sofia has stolen her favorite necklace, she and her best friend, Morgan, decide to play a prank on the hired help. The joke escalates to yield irrevocable consequences for Sofia and Miguel.

 Toolbox Bandit is based on the true story of a man who robbed convenience stores with power tools. Down and out of luck, Luke Dawson meets his ultimate nemesis in Samir, the convenience store owning father of his one true love, Arti. 

The film depicts compelling stories like the old widower who visits the laundrette to remind him of his wife, and light-hearted accounts like one of Maureen’s laundrette users stripping down to his underwear to wash the clothes he was wearing or Sammy’s wish to see the Queen walk through the Laundrette door.
