Being literally the only front end dev where I work is tough. Literally no one to ask for advice… just design feedback. A smol part of me worries i am just doing this whole thing wrong. But it spits out reports correctly and does api calls and gets the data required so 🤷‍♀️

So I actually had to program a bunch of data shaping to automate a bunch of reports which was a neat experience but its not nearly as fun as making user interfaces. Data shaping was like click a button look if the console object looks right more forward. It took a lot more brain power then I want to admit lol

Spent the last three days dumping 48,000 excel entries into a sharepoint table 500 entries at a time while learning c++… hindsight i should have spent the first day converting the excel into a csv then writing a loop that uploaded one entry at a time to the sharepoint api. Would have saved me two days. But whatever I am now 35 hours of learning c++ as the trade off and i can now read the code i need to modify for my current project

Why is Microsoft’s c++ docs so much better and thorough than there javascript docs… i hate it here

Went down a rabbit hole today learning about c++. Fun fact because nodejs is made in c++ and javascript it actually contains syntax to make it easier to access c++ code from js.

Had a project that needed to be written in basic javascript and html and I guess I have been using React too much. I had to relook up how to interact with the dom lol. The problem I ran into is in access the effect is called afterupdate, react calls it onBlur js calls it change. My blur prop is always named afterUpdate and i am just looking at my eventlistner wondering why its not accepting afterUpdate lmao.

I love how alot of Microsoft apps and websites are all front end react but all their javascript documentation is jquery garbage

Ahhhhh I. I assembled a chat bot and she now answers questions in discord… and she’s sassy

So learning next js and realizing my tech stack will end up being REPENT by the time i am done 😏

Yah using excel to bulk program dataobjects

Adhd got me currently working on an AI vtuber. I found her voice. I created concept art for her. I want her to have a memory so i built her a database that will open and play audiotracks corresponding to her answers to questions. I built here a little search engine so if the user asks a question she looks for the answers in her database and returns the answer with the most words in common with the question. If she gets multiple answers she rolls a dice and picks one. I also got her hooked up so i can input text and get that text back as a voice line. All this audio plays in browser. This week I am working on her 3d model. I have done a bunch of research on how guilty gear 3d models style comes from.

I know typescripts is probably safer to use but the chaos of javascript is too powerful for I the chaoswheel to resist
