Koromaru wagged his tail, happy to see his new friend smiling again. A lot of the humans had gotten swept up in the emotions of the kids being held hostage, it was a confusing and messy situation. He was avoiding people for the most part, he just decided to stick with Kanji because he reminded him of Shinjiro. He watched the human for a bit more before rubbing against his legs. He’d stick with him until this whole thing was over.

Triangle for unpopular opinions
This one is a little bit harder, since someone already pointed out Chidori--which I agree with. I feel Yukari gets a lot of negative attention from the fandom--given, until I replayed and rewatched things I was one of them. Yes, she can do stuff to rub people the wrong way, but later on she owns up to it and tries to improve. When she finally confronted Mitsuru about the whole thing after her father’s death, it made me really start appreciating her as a character much more.
Another thing that I don’t like is how the Natsuki arc works. I loved the development and how it was sort of a coming of age thing for her, and how it was so important for Fuuka to have a friend. But aside from the scenes where she’s gossiping, making up with Fuuka, or talking to her about going away, we don’t really see her? Like obviously she was an important aspect of Fuuka’s life, judging by the reaction given when Fuuka learned she was transferring. I mean, she wasn’t a main character to begin with, but I feel it would have been nice to at least see her passively hanging out with Fuuka on a few occasions. Also unless I recall wrong, she’s never even mentioned after that? Like, I get her role was very minor, but it annoys me that she was non-existent after Fuuka’s persona evolved.
Also in Persona 4, I hate how quickly Saki was offed. Like she was literally put into the game just for Yosuke to have development. Females are not disposable characters just so males can have epiphanies in plots.
Meanwhile, Kanji was just minding his own business, like
EVERYONE should have been doing.

I’m putting this under a readmore because it gets heavily into a rant and I don’t wanna randomly spew it on my followers dashboards.
Although I love a lot of the game's humor, I really hate how everyone calls Kanji weird. All of the third years with the exception of the main character canonically jab at him and it just comes off as homophobic to me and not funny at all? Like, I can excuse it in Persona 4 because it's not nearly as prominent, but the times Kanji's sexual confliction and attitude is brought up in Persona Arena, Q, and Dancing All Night just outright pisses me off. The whole point was his friends accepting him for who he was, and he is literally the only character who still gets crap for his shadow, with the occassional "stud hunting" references from Yukiko's, but that's only done in passing and it's by an innocent Teddie who doesn't realize what he is doing.
I'm not even going to get into the jokes the males will make about Kanji doing something to them without consent. Then to top it all off, in Dancing All Night, Yu is the ONLY one to say a good thing about Kanji in the epilogue. I'll admit, I take extra offense to this, being gay myself, but it's still ridiculous.
Please note, I'm not attacking or criticizing characters here. If anything, it's ATLUS for putting that shit in there. They make a character to show it's okay to not fit in with gender norms, but then all of his friends make fun of him anyway. Meanwhile, with Naoto, every single main character was supportive,and only outside people who barely knew her made remarks on it.
Maybe I'm partly so passionate about this because I've been considered the 'weird' one in old groups of friends before. I don't know, it just feels like he doesn't get the recognition he deserves.

He yipped and then nuzzled at her affectionately. He was always proud that he could help. At the mention of a treat, he sat back patiently, although his panting had gotten quicker, he was clearly excited. He nodded his head once, then gave a bark to seal the promise.
