Lmao my urine culture came back with a bacteria I had never even heard of. Usually treated with cipro...but cipro has a black box warning for people with my disability. MD said she would give me 3 days of keflex, but then gave me 3 days of bactrim?? Love this journey for me.

I looked at the culture report again...the organism is resistant to bactrim. So i had to restart the process of getting an on demand phone appointment, snd wait another hour for somebody to call me. The new doctor was like, what the shit why would she write for bactrim??? So then he wrote the intended keflex, except he sent it to a pharmacy that is 45 minutes away, which I have never patronized. So I had to call my pharmacy to get it transfered. Thankfully, I have 12 keflex capsules from when I was part way through a course and told to stop, which will carry me over until monday when I am out and about. Fucking amateur hour ass hmo.

#sicklife #i don't even know the last time i had a uti #and i am doing my damnedest to not just go to urgent care when we already have culture results #it has been largely asymptomatic except for general malaise and increased weakness

the american south is the most racially diverse and poorest region of the united states, and any political sentiment that treats the south is stupid or expendable is inherently racist and classist. a lot of y'all are racist and classist. the south is also the heart of american culture. argue with a wall. you cannot deny that everybody in the entire world does not emulate artists from atlanta. there is vested interest in keeping the south poor and uneducated BECAUSE this is the most racially diverse region in this country. if you actually give a fuck about progress, you would fight for the south, not mock us.
