the parallels between The Lucky One and Clara Bow are flooring me right now and the juxtaposition between what ages Taylor wrote both of those songs and how they completely mirror each other from two totally opposite sides of stardom that only someone who has reached Taylor’s level of fame could know… I need to fucking lay down

people confused if songs are about matty or joe but the “went from an oven to a microwave” is pretty cut clear that they both hurt her in similar ways and that the songs are muddled and confusing cause it was confusing for her. we never fully know which one she’s talking about cause they both hurt her so similarly she can weave the pain together

Taylor saying her own name on Clara Bow felt hauntingly strange. It almost felt unnatural.

I think it's so wild that Swifties think they can sit here talking about Taylor's life and decisions 24/7 and she can have no say in it? She isn't allowed to have thoughts and opinions about us talking about her all the time? She isn't allowed to make art about how that makes her feel? We deserve to be called out by her, it's completely fair and valid. To think otherwise is naive. And I personally find it refreshing that she isn't acting like having rabid fans is all roses and sunshine all the time, for once.
