Honestly? Honestly the idea of Ilya Rozanov sitting himself down at twelve years old and saying I have GOT to get out of this country. It killed my mother. It's going to kill me. Then his father dies and the man he loves says "Come with me" and Ilya says I am NEVER going back!! I will wear my mother's cross and I will think of her every day and she will forgive me for never visiting her grave because her beautiful boy got OUT. I will go to a place where I am loved by a man A MAN who I love more than I ever thought I was allowed. Who holds my face and my hands and my heart. I will find a home for myself in his arms. Finding the Balance of Leaves and Liquid

The considerably better way to drink tea

right so I drink tea alright and my brother in an unseen twist of events has found within his previously believed to be dead heart bought some tea for me—it wasn’t for me but—

the crises here is that I’ve poured this Spanish tea that I’ve gotten very fond of and now I’m lacking a strainer nor the will to abandon my less than comfortable chair. yes this is a crises and it led me to finding the best ways to drink tea. come on now, I’ll take you with me

objective: less leaves, more tea

possible solutions: a) strain it (not applicable here); b) sedimentation - let it settle to the bottom, c) use a straw (I’m embarrassed to say I didn’t think of this first), d) use a spoon and laws of physics

observations: sedimentation takes a while and doesn’t solve the problem entirely. straws do not vibe unless it is swirly enough and we lack one. lastly, experiments have found that pushing the leaves away from the drinker leads to larger disturbance in the center and thus causes for centripetal force to act on it and have all of it rise on settle on the top layer which is not desirable. smaller pulls to the drinker do not cause that much turbulence in comparison; the centrifugal force i.e., inertia of the leaves when performing this motion causes for the leaves to stick to the side and thus combined with the agility of the drinker, less leaves are consumed. result: relatively more leaves when pushed away with small strokes. a lot of leaves if pushed away, motion passing through center. considerably less leaves when pulled to the sides, passing through the center. low leaves when pulled towards the drinker with small strokes.

solution: pull the leaves towards yourself in small strokes for lowest leaves, more tea or be classy, and use a swirly straw
