there are a lot of arguments against making ships canon in a show just to pander to an audience, but two years ago out of all fucking shows, south park made craig/tweek canon (a ship i did NOT GET at the time, but the fandom fucking loved), and have earnestly made it one of the sweetest, most thoughtful parts of show (and NGL, the healthiest fucking relationship anyone has with ANYONE in south park is craig and tweek), and i’m just like, if SOUTH PARK of all shows can make a gay ship canon, do it respectfully, use it as an interesting way to frame plots that aren’t about being gay but just about being in a relationship and supporting your significant other (or as cartman says, “you need to have some balls in your relationship, and gay balls are the same as straight balls”), then why can’t other shows

you cant make people in your a/b/o fics say jesus christ without leaving the implication that jesus christ was some form of a/b/o
