I wish this guy was just a strawman to prove a point, but unfortunately he’s not. I’ve had this conversation over and over with the same damn people.
Having PCOS is probably one of the most frustrating parts of my life because people, male and female, doesn’t understand that being overweight is part of the illness, and being overweight is such a stigmatized thing in our society that everybody think they know what’s wrong with me and feel a need to tell me how to fix it. And to make it worse, PCOS is a bit different from person to person, so some PCOS patients might not be overweight but suffer from oily, spotted or miscolord skin for example, so if someone knows another person with PCOS they might say “The other person I know isn’t overweight, so…”
My Mum didn’t raise no fool. Maybe a broken shell, with multiple chronic illnesses and questionable coping mechanisms. But no fool.
Back At It Again!
Losing weight is really a matter of patience, and I don’t have ANY. 😂
Come to find out I have hypothyroidism & insulin resistance, which I am now medicated for.
Anyway to start off my Keto diet I’m embarking on a fast- it has no end but a min of 24hrs. Keto from now on is a life commitment for me. Due to my insulin resistance it’s gonna have to be. Hopefully I can reach my goal weight and maintain. 🤞🏻

Ketogenic Diet
Please, please, please, do your research and get on this diet. It’s amazing and is already changing my life. It’s the secret to me losing those 15 pounds and counting. Low Carb, Moderate Protein, High Fat. This diet changes the way your body uses energy. Rather than running off of glucose (which is what your body uses if you aren’t on this diet), your body starts running off of keytones, which pull from fat storage.
Started these today…and the new exercises hurt like hell. But, I’ve been here before so it’ll get better after a while.
15lbs Down!
I did this in two weeks. I’m so happy. My goal was to lose 2-5 pounds per week and look at me, lol. I fell off the wagon for a while and now I’m 6 pounds from being where I was to start with lol. It everything goes to plan, these are my weekly goals for this month! WEEK ONE: 230 ☑ WEEK TWO: 225 ☑ WEEK THREE: 220 ☑ WEEK FOUR: 215 Lets see if I can pull off 5 more pounds this month!
75 Pounds in 4-6 months.
So, I've been on this weight loss journey for a while now but I've just now visited a doctor for some advice. I never thought it would be possible but with her help, I should be losing 12-14 pounds per month minimum or maximum 20 pounds per month. She expects me to be 155 in 4-6 months. So excited! If any of you would like the information she gave me- feel free to message me! Time to kick this in high gear!

These thirty day challenges are kickin’ my butt👊. Everything is pretty doable though, my legs are on fire. My stomach is the only part of me that isn’t feeling the burn, so I’m thinking about throwing in some more intense core exersizes. ·We did double the squats, planks, & crunches. + Ran a mile. I am SO lucky to have a friend that will do this with me! Today marks the second day for us! Our legs are killing. But we've adding running to the list. Come on guys, lets bump it up and start today!
Day One
Got a good workout in today! Walked/ Ran 5 laps around the track today, 50 squats, 50 crunches, 40s plank, 5 push-ups (on my knees). 1st day with my new workout buddy, we’ll be back at it again tomorrow!
