Biking Workout
Biking can be very tiring, as shown in the picture below. The image below was taken after I had to ride my bike home after practice. It was not all the bike’s fault, but it affected my sourness the next day. Biking targets the quad muscles. According to Byrdie, biking for 20-30 minutes is ideal when trying to see results for recovery after a workout, and around 40-60 minutes to build strength and endurance.
There are many other benefits besides just fitness. Instead of taking a car and riding your bike to the store or work, that does help with fitness, but it also helps with the environment, saving money, preventing pollution, and so much more. Pushing yourself to ride a bike rather than taking the easy way, such as Uber, bussing, scootering, driving, or any other gas-powered transportation, gives one better self-discipline, starting with little choices such as these.
