His name was Zander Mahaffey. On February 11, 2015 he killed himself when he was only 15. Purposefully overdosed to escape the abuse of most everyone around him. He knew it wouldn't get better for him. His death was a signal to fix society. He did it because of his horrible transphobic mother.

Their name was Nex. On February 8, 2024, they were murdered when they were only 16. The school forced all students to go to their agab restroom. So Nex went to the girls'. 3 cisgender girls followed them in and bashed their head against the tile. No one helped them. They had to carry themselves to the nurse's office, all bloody. The school refused to call an ambulance for them, instead suspending them and forcing their family to pick them up. Nex's family took them to the hospital where they died of head trauma the next day. Nex's death was a sign that society hasn't changed. It hasn't been fixed. It's still gross and broken.

How many more children will have to die? How many youth need take their lives before the world finally realizes that it is wrong? Will we allow this to go on?
