listen up ed tumblr, these are 30-44 cal hot chocolate per cup and let me tell you this is the one thing that stops me from binging 2000cal every time i want to binge. it taste so freaking good and it is so filling
you put 3 teaspoons of it and then hot water it taste so sweet and full of so much flavour i cant express to you how good of a buy this is. my fav ones are the salted caramel one and white chocolate but i still have more to taste so i’ll let you know how that goes. lmk if yous try it too or already have :)
This issue with me is I’m really good at restricting but when I do eat I binge and it’s always high calorie carb snacks. So I’ve created my safety food drawer for when I do binge. It contains energy drinks, chewing gum for when I can resist. But for when I can’t I have baby bells, raisins, fibre bars, skinny whip , ryvita and rice cakes they’re all low cal. I’ve been thinking about purging, any tips on how to safely purge as the thoughts are so overwhelming I don’t know how long I can hold off it. Please flood my inbox on how to do it secretly too, I’m sick of looking the way I do. I also have fruit and vegetables that I can snack on but obviously they can’t go in my snack drawer.

people rlly don’t understand that so much of EDs are because of how society treats people who aren’t skinny. those who haven’t experienced anything but being skinny will always say “why are you afraid of being fat? what’s wrong with being fat?” but have never experienced the rejection and shame that comes with being even a normal “healthy” weight. i am not even overweight and i constantly feel as though EVERYTHING down to my interests are being judged more harshly just because of my weight. things that are considered “cringe” if you’re one weight are cute and quirky if you’re skinny. the “they’ll want me if im skinnier” mentality is also super prevalent with people’s tastes being so publicized. seeing your crush post all these attractive tall, skinny people on their stories while gushing about them isn’t a good feeling at all. i don’t know, i just feel like people don’t often talk about the aspect of eating disorders and body dysmorphia that is just how harshly society judges the same things differently depending on weight.
Vegan Shirataki Alfredo - 163.6 kcals
Shirataki noodles are my go-to, but I’d only ever tried them in ramen. This may be my new fave way to eat them. It was so filling, almost feels like I just binged tbh.
*Disclaimer: This post is not meant to encourage you to eat low in calories, or to promote disordered eating. Hopefully this recipe can encourage you to eat something you can feel comfortable eating, instead of fasting.
Ingredients
•1 bag House Foods Shirataki noodles
•1 cup sliced mushrooms
•2 cloves garlic
•1 tbsp. nutritional yeast
•1 vegan bouillon cube (I used “Not Chick’n” by Edward & Sons)
•1/2 cup unsweetened, unflavored soy milk (I used Silk)
•1 tsp. dried thyme
•1 tsp. dried oregano
•1 tsp. cornstarch
•pepper and chili flakes to taste
Method
1. Prep your noodles by rinsing well until the smell (you know what I mean if you’ve ever had these noodles) is washed away. Then, boil in water for about 5 minutes for good measure.
2. Sauté your mushrooms and garlic in a pan for 1-2 minutes (no oil).
3. Add the bouillon cube, along with a splash of water to deglaze the pan. Stir well.
4. Add your nutritional yeast and herbs (oregano and thyme), and keep stirring.
5. Whisk the soy milk (preferably chilled) and cornstarch together in a bowl until all lumps are dissolved.
6. Pour the cornstarch-milk slurry over your mushrooms and mix right away to prevent lumps from forming.
7. Drain your noodles and add to the pan, mixing until all noodles are covered and the sauce is a bit thicker.
8. Enjoy!
I added too many chili flakes and kinda regretted it, so just be careful. 🥲 The overall flavor was on point though!
