The machine studies the man while he grins crookedly, twitching erratically and speaking to the robot of the Great Watcher who will devour them both.

The robot decides that words alone cannot help it understand the subject, and touches him with its fingers.

It tries to reach into the man's mind, sending electrical pulses through his nerves, making him arch his body as it diligently scans his brain in an attempt to understand what he's doing.

The madman grabs the cold steel, smiles at the pain, and whispers the machine's model name, running a finger along the etched letters on its shoulder, pleasantly engraved into the metal.

The robot realizes that if it continues, the subject may die - and with him, the chance to comprehend the logic of Chaos would be lost.

So the machine lifts him in its arms and tries to lay him on the bed.
