There was no chance that Morgan would be getting any sleep, the day she had been waiting around for was finally here and the nerves didn’t seem to quit. She didn’t want this to turn out badly, considering that she truly cared about him and wanted this to go beyond dates on the screen. Taking another look at herself in the mirror before she left the house, ensuring that her outfit looked good and she’d leave an impression on him. Those first few seconds would end up meaning everything and it had to be perfect.

Approaching the outside of the restaurant, she felt the butterflies running around in her stomach and she couldn’t wait to see him. She wondered if he’d up looking as good as he did on the phone as in person and if he was just as goofy as he appeared. Looking over at the table he said he would be at, she spotted him in the distance and found her feet moving quickly to where he was. A smile so wide on her lips as she touched the back of his shoulder so he’d turn around and she definitely wasn’t disappointed by the sight. “Hi. It’s so good to see you.”

Buck was positive the nerves were about to finish off his insides, chewing them up and spitting them out into a weird kind of nausea. The excitement, the flat-out nervousness and god knows what else were all churning away, trying to escape through his leg bouncing against the ground. And then, when he felt a hand on his back and she stepped into view, it all went quiet. All, that was, except a flood of relief that pulled a bright, toothy grin to his lips. 

“I’ve got the right number. There is an actual clown staring at me right now, and he’s definitely broken into my house.” Cecelia replied with a small chuckle. She wasn’t scared by any means. She was annoyed if anything and was starting to consider moving. “And as horny as I tend to be, I don’t want to fuck a clown. So yes I understand it’s a bit weird for me to request that you send the hottest policeman in my direction, but I do have a real problem here.” 

“I’d say you need to tell me the truth.” He catches the smirk on the man, “Or I’ll leave you here for the rest of my shift.” Not a real threat, more of a nuisance on wasting time. “I thought you were done with this.”
