"I-I don't know. Maybe once I was done with this event," Dana shrugged, her voice an octave higher than normal. "I just...I definitely would have told you. I-I mean, I don't think I could keep that kind of information from you forever. But...this was supposed to be a fun and happy time. And...well, it's not exactly happy news. And I didn't really know how to tell you I'm sick."
Raj tried to process everything she was saying, trying to determine how much of it was the trust, and which parts she was saying to try to keep him happy. "But isn't this type of thing exactly what you shouldn't be doing?" Raj said as it made sense to him that she shouldn't be pushing herself. "You need to take care of yourself."
