ok final thoughts on ui update after i looked at it some more: i prefer the desktop layout on mobile. the dragon hover info box thing is hideous now, i really hope they consider changing it i hate it with a passion. but otherwise i actually think it's fine. if they change a few things (shortening big numbers, no notification number) i think it's a good update! if the changes make things more accessable to people then i think it's good.

#update ranting #im very averse to change in general. so personally i'd rather they hadnt done this update and i'm going to be critical.#but looking at it objectively it's fine

i really thought i would hate the new phone-specific layout but i don't exactly mind it? i hope they change the number-shortening i've seen other people deal with, but it's fine. i wish they hadn't moved the alert button, all those top buttons kinda blend into the background for me because they don't stand out much, i'm gonna forget its there and idk if the tiny notif dot is going to help its kinda small, which btw why did they remove seeing how many notifs?

i don't know how many of these are common issues lol i literally just woke up and have only seen like a few bits of ppl talking about it, but: i like most of it honestly- at least phone vers, as a person on phone fr.

#i guess the point of the new notification button is for you to forget its there until you get the notification... but the dot is so small..#i really do think having a number instead of an inoffenssive dot would help #i honestly have a few problems with the ui other than this but they're more aesthetic and im gonna make another post talking about it in tw #seconds #flight rising #update ranting #<? my new tag for complaining or not-entirely-positively talking about new fr updates #block it if u dont want to see them

Liskear (ae/aer) is a botanist who specializes in using Plague methods as well as ancient flora and pathogens to test and strengthen plants. Ae is a rather odd dragon, prickly, unafraid to speak aer mind, and has a crude sense of humor.

#for me personally i don't mind people offering. i think if there's no message on the tab/dragon saying 'don't offer' then it's not rude #someone offered on one of my permas once and i ended up selling them. i offered on someone else's perma once (because they were inactive an #she was related to one of mine) and i ended up getting the dragon-#but you should definitely check someone's page and tab and dragon bio first. and obvi if it says 'no offers on permas' then dont #there are permas i have that i'd def never sell but i wouldnt think it was rude for someone to offer.
