I know I'm neither the first or last to say it but I am 100% committed to Catch of the Century Adrian. The absolute ideal of Eridian beauty and attractiveness. Gorgeous. Brilliant. Witty. Charming. Fun. Beyonce with multiple Ph.Ds. And absolutely nobody on Erid understands how this utterly average, slightly neurotic engineer bagged them, much less how they resolutely turned away all other suitors when the Blip-A was gone so much longer than planned.

(Although, maybe, once Rocky has saved the stars and brought First Contact home to Erid, people start to understand what Adrian saw in them all this time.)

So Eridians use echolocation and sonography that allows them to hear through solid materials. And we know that Rocky can basically hear the whole Hail Mary without problems.

We don’t know much about planet Erid beyond the very basics, but planets that have iron core usually feature volcanic activity and therefore magma and other materials movement underneath the planet surface.

So considering this…

Do you think ancient Eridians ever lied down on the ground to listen to the voice of their planet? Keeping very still and waiting for a faint and distant sound from down below to reach them.

I would imagine that to be possible mostly near the volcanoes, where magma comes closer to the crust (planet surface). So do you think those ancient Eridians were coming to the fire breathing mountains to listen to planet’s songs?

Did they consider their planet alive in those long ago times? Maybe they worshipped it as their creator and parent? After all, their bodies are so similar to its. They sing to each other just as the planet sings to them from time to time.

Imagine Eridians’ one and only ancient god being the planet itself.

When Grace inevitably dies on Erid they build him a statue. It is grand in that it is not towering, but built methodically with the utmost love respect and care. Adrian and Rocky oversee it’s construction and they ensure the Grace depicted not as a godlike saviour but a silly little space blob who taught their planets pebbles about relativity and who learnt to speak a language not made for his body. They make sure he is seen to be kind and brave. Lastly, they ensure an Eridian is carved with him so he will always have someone to watch him sleep.
