Fiona is canonically trans! Skydancers have sexual dimorphism in that male have 4 antenna and females have 2 (I also think male's head crests are bigger, but it's kinda hard to tell)

Fiona has 4 antenna and uses she/her pronouns, it's also been confirmed that she's trans by staff!

Sophie is a demigirl! confirmed by staff and flavor text that she use she/they pronouns!

Scribbles is nonbinary! Undel has said quote "Scribbles didn't have time for that!"

Glass & Gloss are nonbinary! they use they/them both as a singular pronoun and a plural one! they also refer to themselves as "we"

Mahmud's story is unfortunately a rather sad one as meta narratives go. He originally belonged to a polycule made up of dragons from myself and a dear friend of mine who was my Dragon Game Buddy. These girls were the heart of the polycule, and the rest of the group were attached to them spoke-and-wheel style. Over time parts of the polycule disbanded, but Mahmud remains ever devoted to his girls.

One day however, years ago now, my dear friend passed away very suddenly. Playing Flight Rising became very difficult for me, but eventually I came to see it as a way to remain connected to my friend. I have many dragons that were connected to my friend's dragons in lore but Mahmud, one of the most bright and optimistic and devoted dragons I have, refused to be kept down. In lore he remains devoted to his girls, but has been working on getting stronger alongside his new teammates Tevra and Ajala in the coliseum. It remains to be seen how their bond will grow, but the connection between the three strengthens with every passing day 💪

I still think about my friend every day, and Mahmud reminds me of all the good times we had. He will always be very important to me, bright sparkly glitter man that he is <3

loosen restrictions for themes come on guys it's been more than a decade now i've seen those light pillars for so long

add a familiar for winning a contest (add a new familiar on top every new FR year so that new and existing entrants can enter to win)

increase gem and blueprint prizes to 5kG and the 10-print skin multicopy

have a festival familiar colour contest alongside the skin one, and 2 of the best festival colourations become collectible / purchasable. users have pretty good colouring sense trust me

and then imagine if we extended this to freshwater pearls too-

(These two images are just a small fraction of the colors that those funky little molluscs can produce. And that's to say nothing of artificial support pearls/nacre for those PCs who don't have the gland to produce the nacre/don't produce enough nacre to catalogue their memories.)

SO a PC native to the Sea of a Thousand Currents would have a wide variety of brighter colors (because holy crap do pearl producing ocean bivalves have some interesting colors), whereas those born in more diluted fresh waters like in the Tangled Wood or Viridian Labyrinth would have more muted/pastel or white/ivory colors. Or they could just be a mix of both, because a bivalve from an ocean can still produce pastels (Pinctada fucata) and freshwater molluscs can produce more variations of color (Hyriopsis cumingii).

Love the new crepe minigame. Started imagining what my own dragons would order. You think the NPCs sass off to you? Can you imagine what the average player's lair dragons would order, especially all the murderers, criminals, scammers, and demi-gods???

Anyway, I drew three of my own dragon's crepe orders. They'd be the worst customers ever.

you get 4 plots, one for each food type.

you can pick certain foods to cultivate and every day you get a little bit, like low food point stuff you can get every day, and higher food point stuff you can get once every few days. it would be like nesting, where you have to check in every day to fill the meter.

and there could be exclusive livestock (including bugs and fish)/crops you buy to cultivate more that have a really high food point amount.

maybe you can even get them as familiars, or at least special versions of them.

i think that would be really neat! there's a ton of apparel that suggest that farming/gardening exists anyways, maybe dragons learned it from some beastclans and we could get another beastclan npc :}
