The investigation into the identity of “William Bowery” continues - here’s why I think WILLIAM BOWERY could be GARTH BROOKS.

His BIOGRAPHY celebration was held at the BOWERY hotel. Biography as in me, myself, I. An interesting connection to the name “Bowery”

He imposed a 13 year EXILE on himself. While this is obviously not a case of time-traveller Swift, and the 13 is obviously a coincidence, it is interesting the word “exile” was used by him.

He is no stranger to creating alter egos to explore new musical styles. See: Garth Brooks / Chris Gaines.

And while he did not write “the one”, Taylor did say she hid clues in the lyrics. “The greatest films of all time were NEVER MADE” just like The Lamb, which was never made.

He is no stranger to royalty disputes and owning your music. Like Taylor, he fought to own his music, protested against online streaming. This goes along with a theme in exile - “homeland” and “my town” being big machine. Garth once had a distribution / promo deal with them.

He has a daughter named august and a sister named Betsy - while Betsy is obviously not Betty, it is close. (Obviously a bit of a reach)

He had a tour called the Dive Bar tour. We all know the significance of dive bars in this fandom.

In conclusion: Garth Brooks could be William Bowery. I rest my case. 😌
