ok but i’m genuinely so unbelievably proud of mason, i can’t even put it into words. he’s only 22 years old, made his chelsea debut in 2019 and only about two years later he’s achieved so so many amazing things. not only is he such an important player for his club but he’s also a really vital player for the national team with both tuchel and southgate always praising him and putting him on the team sheet whenever he’s available. he was a huge part in winning the champions league with that winning assist, won player of the year at chelsea last season and played so so great in the euro final back in the summer as well as the supercup when they won yet another trophy. all in just about TWO YEARS of him being in the first team. and now to officially be ranked #19 of the best footballers this year and be part of the club of the year… it just blows my mind how many great things he’s already achieved at such a young age. i really think there’s no one who deserves all these things more because when you look at the way he plays with so much heart and passion you can see that he genuinely LOVES football so much and there’s nothing in the world he’d rather be doing. this is just the beginning.
