Most of us are not risk takers when it comes to our money, we are simply smart people and can't cope with the latter. Keep being smart and put your money into a company that you know will continuously do well. Companies such as Walmart, or a popular tortilla company you feel consumers will purchase from for years to come. Remember do your homework, which brings me to the next part. Don't just take what someone says to be truth , look at visual proof of the companies earnings. Know what the company and the CEO 's of it are about. Before and after you get a stock, make sure you are aware of what's going on in the news. Especially in your stocks field. Say that you invested in Wal-Mart and on the news you see for whatever reason people have decided to boycott it. Well Wal-Mart wouldn't be bringing in that extra cash like investors want. So not only would you not be getting extra cash but you might not get back what you initially deposit. When all you had to do was look at the news and take the legal hint.

The best way to be financially well is to use your money to generate more money. When you cash your check, dont blow it on things that won't make you money. Those type of items will wind up being old and useless. At least keep that thought in mind while you shop. You need to generate assets. Assets are what separates the rich from the poor. How many of you can say that you have any? They can be anywhere from education to stocks, or equipment you'll use to work. When it comes to stocks since it can be a win/lose situation, make sure you do your homework. Don't get caught up in a scheme either, do your homework. The more you know the more you grow.

I have become so fed up with constantly buying plates, paper towels, plastic eating utensils and cups. It brought me to a point where I had to say, “what for?”. Why use paper towels when you can simply wipe whatever it is with a rag and wash it. We all have cups and plates and silverware at home. The only benefit is that they save you from doing loads of dishes. The easy fix to that is to have every family member use one plate, cup,fork and spoon set . Have everyone wash what they eat out of. These items add up at the end of the year and it’s a bigger sum the larger your family is. Don’t let these things be a deficit to your goal. Some may say,“ your being cheap”. Well let me say that in fact you are being wise and investing your money in things of greater value.

If you have 25$ in your checking and 1000$ in your savings then don't go out with your friends, don't get fast food. Tell whoever wants to know that you are broke and you can't afford to pay for etc thing. You have to remember that you have plans for the money in your savings account. That money is accounted for so you only have 25$. If you think this way then you'll get far in your financial goals.

In my bathroom there are soo many products I just don't need. I have multiple types of lotions and oils. Many different face washes, soaps, and body sprays. There are several cleaning products and home fragrances. The fact of it all is that the advertisement catered to my liking of pretty smells and clean things. Those are my set offs. Now that I know what my spending set offs are, I try to analyze my basket and ask myself what in here is a pretty smell or cleaning item? Sure as heck, that item goes back. Look around your home and find out what you at no benefit have too much of. Recognize those things to be your spending set offs. Have it in mind while you shop.Don't get set off of your savings goal.

Anyone trying to save should have a change jar.
