Had a very odd argument on the internet about bike safety the other day. I argued that wearing bright clothes when riding a bike is a good idea. This was the wrong thing to say to a bunch of hardcore urban bikers. They did not like that. So, I wrote about the argument.

Since the Taliban have retaken Afghanistan we have heard a lot about the plight of women and girls. And for good reason. Life under the Taliban is NOT easy for women and girls. However, we don't talk enough about how difficult life is for boys in Afghanistan, and how the Taliban in power promises to make it even harder.
