—- || Nodding in confirmation, he couldn’t help but let keep a smile flutter on his lips, keeping his laughter of how the other was acting around him. Though, he kept his composure.

When the next question came, Cody went from his desk to the chair that was next to Lucius. He sat down, leaning back and crossing his legs in a relaxed way. What? It wasn’t like there were cameras in here.

“It’s smart business, dear.” He replies, “you do something good, the crowd loves it, you have a good reputation, many more companies would want to partner up with you. Which usually results to different kinds of opportunities.” He gave Lucius a look.

Something about him seemed rather distracting. But he didn’t know what is was.

“Do you have any questions of your own, Mr. Wagner?” He raised an eyebrow, narrowing his eyes. “I mean- what are you curious about me? Although..” He began to lean forward, “I’d pretty much would like to know more about you.”

[ᴸᵁᶜᴵᵁˢ] –  Lucius looked down at his paper immediately and wrote down the answer to his question-- or well, Isaac’s question. He looked back up whenever the other spoke to him, having just finished writing down the answer. He blinked as he heard those words, feeling his cheeks heat up just a little bit. He cleared his throat, now feeling his cheeks burn when the other leaned forwards. 

Oh dear... 

This was not a position to be in with such an attractive man. 

Lucius automatically brought his pencil up to his mouth, the eraser resting on his bottom lip and pulling it a bit. It was a sort of nervous gesture, but appeared to also be seductive. He brought the pencil back down when he noticed that he was doing it, clearing his throat before he spoke. 

“ Once, you said that you had people that knew you well... “ Lucius began with a soft voice, now able to look at Cody without immediately looking away. With the look on his face, it was easy to tell that Lucius was genuinely curious about what he was about to say next. He took a few moments before he murmured in continuation. 

—- || With his arms around him, Cody placed his hands over Lucius’s waist, now pulling him closer. “Mm, really~?” He purred, leaning towards him. “How much of me do you want to have~?”

[ᴸᵁᶜᴵᵁˢ] –  Lucius moved forwards just as Cody did, allowing their faces to be mere centimeters away from each other. He licked his lips before he purred out a response.

—- || At this point, it was not a surprise for Cody that the other had suddenly went to him and kept his face buried into his neck. He made sure to place the things he held on the nearest surface before wrapping his arms around Lucius, gently rubbing his back.

Hearing him mutter, he kept Lucius close, nodding. “Love you too, Luci.” He replies, reaching to stroke his raven locks. “Always.”

[ᴸᵁᶜᴵᵁˢ] – Lucius let his body relax upon hearing those words, a shaky breath escaping him as he wrapped his arms tightly around Cody... It was as if he was afraid that, if he let go, Cody would be gone and the demon would be right back to square one. He sniffed softly, tears now rolling down his cheeks before he looked up. 

—- || Ah, so that’s why. I suppose this is the only interview I have today, then. The CEO gave a nod when the pencil was taken from him, watching how the other male cleared his throat first and then was silent after.

“Right. I’m giving a speech there,” he said additionally, nodding again. The only reason he accepted this interview after all was because the school was his alma-mater. And the fact that the public would be pleased to know that he still had connections to his school.

“To what do I owe my success?” He says this along with him, raising an eyebrow. Cody kept his smile on, as if putting on a show for the male before shrugging. “Originally, other people would say my parents but..before I even got to stand on my two feet, they were gone. So I suppose that I have my great uncles to thank. But I’d rather say that…hardwork has gotten me here.”

No, he wasn’t planning to mention his great uncles often in this interview. “If there’s hardwork, mr. Wagner, there’s a good outcome. Along with confidence and perseverance, I had all those to be where I am now.”

[ᴸᵁᶜᴵᵁˢ] –  “ You are? “ Lucius looked up when the other told him that he was the one giving the speech there. He blinked, time passing for a moment before he cleared his throat and looked down. “ I mean-- I-I know that. “ 

Lucius’ voice then softened and trailed off when Cody spoke the question with him, biting his lip as he looked down. It was obvious that the CEO was asked the question before, which, despite not being the one who made the questions, made the ravenette’s cheeks heat up immensely in embarrassment. Well, what a turn this interview has taken... What a time to be alive. 

“ Uhm, okay-- “ He wrote down the answer as the other went along before his eyes shifted to the next question he was to ask Mr. Gleeful. He cleared his throat again, taking a bit of time before he spoke again. “ Your company is involved primarily in the telecommunications sector, yet you also invest in numerous agricultural projects... “

Wow really? Lucius didn’t think such a sleek and modern company would be involved in such a topic. 

[ᴸᵁᶜᴵᵁˢ] –  Lucius let out a sigh of relief as he took Cody’s hand, following the male inside his home. He immediately felt safe within the closed doors of Cody’s home, no longer alone but with someone he loved and trusted to have his back. He cringed slightly whenever Cody asked why Lucius had come, why Lucius had not felt safe within his own apartment. 

—- || Cody placed an arm around Lucius, pulling him closer towards him. “Of course, darling. You’re the only one who has the right to do that.” He hums, smiling. “Make sure not to get caught, though.”

—- || With Lucius’s response, he could only give him a look for a short moment before he went back to what he was doing. He gives a nod, now gazing back down at his arm, continuing to dab the soaked cotton softly against his skin.

“I’m not going anywhere.” Cody reassures him, now taking out some band aids to place onto the other’s wounds. “I’ll be right here, alright?” He murmurs, now bringing the back of Luci’s hand to his lips–leaving a sweet kiss there.

[ᴸᵁᶜᴵᵁˢ] –  Lucius sagged whenever he heard Cody respond, letting out a shaky breath he was holding in. He gulped, body shaking in his effort to keep his emotions at bay as the brunette took his hand and kissed the back of it. Without another word, he leaned forward, forgetting and ignoring his injuries, to bury his face in Cody’s neck.
