The two friends take a break in their tussling to stare at him. “Why can’t we go?” Emma asks with a frown, clearly trying to leverage her much longer career as a goody-two shoes to get them out of trouble.
Can Alex even give them detention, Jack wonders, as he watches the others file out of the Great Hall. It’d take a lot of nerve to do that considering who helped Jack hex the Slytherin boys’ toilets his third year…
Their friend hops down from the elevated platform where the faculty take their meals. “Because I need your help with something,” he answers Emma with a smile before walking towards an exit near the center of the dining hall. “Trust me, it’s pretty cool.”
Gone is the irritable scold from moments earlier, replaced by the true version of their slightly older peer. Alex glances over his shoulder as they head to the nearest floo station. “We have to get the Goblet and its case from the trophy room to bring down here before breakfast. Kind of requires more than one person.”
Suddenly, the two students are vibrating with excitement as they take their successive turns at the floo station.
“Oh dear, do watch your nose!” the bust of Ignatia Wildsmith warns Emma with a wince – the enchanted image of the creator of floo powder never failing to give her two-cents on any manner of issue. She’s been getting at Emma for ages to do something about her allergies.
They ignore her, quickly flooing up to the trophy room located at the very top of the Great Tower. Although room always feels insufficient to Jack, seeing how it’s an entire floor that’s now dedicated to showcasing the historic relics of Hogwarts’ extensive sporting past.

I love to RPF but just one of the anons made it sound like gerebito just randomly started following Carlos around. He worked for Eurosport alongside the Alcaraz team. I think that contract ended hence reporting seemed to slow down a bit but they do seem to have remained friends.
