your ships are not progressive just bc theyre gay. a het couple of color in love with no struggle nd no violence is inherently more progressive than any gay ship that involves a white character. nd a gay ship btwn two characters that hate each other or have a clear unbalanced power dynamic in canon isnt more progressive than a het couple where the man is openly empathetic, understanding, nd both partners are equals
