Girl Direction Femslash Festuary is back again!

In honor of Femslash February, @girldirectionfest is hosting a little challenge, no sign ups necessary and very few rules, which are as follows:

-fic must be 7000 words or less

at least one character should be from One Direction, and that character should be a girl. There’s no limit to how many characters you genderswap– they can all be women! It’s up to you :)

Since it’s for femslash February though, please no M/M main pairing

fics should be tagged with all the appropriate content warnings; if you worry you haven’t gotten everything you can check ‘author chose not to use warnings’ to make sure you’re covered!

all pairings are allowed, trans and non-binary/gnc characters are encouraged, and you can write anything from fluffy slice of life to utterly filthy pwp– Girl Direction contains multitudes, baby!!

Deadline for submissions is Sunday, February 26th, and all the fics in the collection will be revealed on Monday, February 27th in time for reccing on the 28th!

Round 2

For this round of the fest, there will be 22 planets and asteroids that serve as prompts. Each planet or asteroid represents an aspect of our personalities and lives. All the celestial bodies function as the players in your natal chart. The natal chart is a picture of the skies on the exact moment when you were born. Each celestial body was located in a certain place, and that placement determines the effects on your life. 

Every writer gets a random planet or asteroid assigned to them. Every prompt can be interpreted in your own way. You can base your fic on the planet or asteroid's general meaning and symbolism, a specific house placement, how the celestial body transits through the years etc. With the prompt list we will provide some sources for research.

Rules:

There’s no minimum or maximum word count.

There is no age restriction, but for writing nsfw content you must be 18+.

Fics must be tagged appropriately. Certain topics can be triggering, so please don’t hide or downplay anything. The fic will be removed from the collection if authors aren’t open to changing tags due to complaints.

All pairings are allowed, as long as there's at least one member of 1D.

All fics must be completed when posted.

This fest is not anonymous. Please feel free to post snippets of your fic and tag the blog.

Co-creation is allowed; please address it when signing up or message the mods as needed.

It encouraged to have your fic looked over by a beta.

Add your fic to the collection by 6 pm CET and authors will be responsible for their own rebloggable fic posts.
