There's So Much to pull from and I'm glad pokemon has at least one canon that is completely batshit in every way possible. Adds flavor to the franchise

As for Lance, ecoterrorist who Has A Point but fucks up the method is unfortunately common bad writing. I think he would benefit from sitting at a moderately crowded park for 6 hours with a full collection of Dungeon Meshi. It won't necessarily redeem him, mind you, it'd just benefit him. Learn some new stuff about himself, so to speak

It's kinda funny how Lance was basically like an actual hero trying his best to save his region in the games and other regions in the anime. Like a prototype version of Looker.

I actually don't have many. A part of the reason I started writing preciousmetal again was because there just wasn't that many fics out there that I liked, so I figured I could make my own. But I'll give you the few fics I do quite like.

Words Whispered In The Dark, Good Morning, Heartache, and Braids, all by Bunnygirl678. Bunny is the main preciousmetal author I read, and all of her fics are really good, I would recommend checking out anything preciousmetal she's written, but these are a few of my absolute favorites. The first two are soulmate aus, and obviously, soulmate aus are one of my favorite aus, so those immediately rank high on my list of top preciousmetal fics, and Braids is a perfect combo of angst and fluff and I definitely did not have to hold back tears while reading it. Nope. Did not happen.

Why Would I Be With You? by TheLizardWriter. A preciousmetal high school au longfic that is unfortunately unfinished. (I'm still holding out hope it will be updated one day) This is definitely my favorite longfic that I've found, although it does have bad dad/abusive Gio, which isn't usually my cup of tea in pokespe fics, but I let it slide this once because the angst, plot, and relationship development are really good.

Love Balls by HummingBirdAIDrabbles. (on ffn, not ao3) This one is short, and more silly than anything, also only implied preciousmetal, but I think it's a cute fic, and I love that the inspiration was the messed up love ball coding in gen 2.

There are probably a few that I'm forgetting from ffn/2010s ao3, but I don't have the best memory of those fics cause I read practically all of them in high school, and I barely remember those years as is. These were the only ones I could remember/find during the couple of days I spent looking for fics to give you.
