Them brushing hands. The forbidden love. The charged glance. Staring at each other from across the room. The yearning. Him staring at her gift every single night. Both are good at waltzing. Azriel being an absolute gentleman for his lady. The way he’s always so gentle with Elain. Her making him blush, laugh and smile so easily.

One of my favorite parts of canon is the dichotomy of Elain and Azriel as a spy duo. Elain is the quiet and observant one, a sweet, gentle face that eases a person in, while Azriel, Death himself, waits in the shadows. It’s part of why they work so well; two halves of one whole, teaming up against their enemies. I, like many other Elain stans, don’t want to see her be another prototypical romantasy female warrior; I want to see her use her softness to her advantage to get what is needed. Her scary dog privilege is just a bonus.

Giving ALLLLLLL of my love to Muni for this one, you were an absolute pleasure to work with and I can’t believe how much fun I had commissioning this with you! Getting to share with you my love of one of my favorite fictional couples was immeasurably joyful and I’m so glad I got to introduce you to Elriel. I absolutely cannot wait to work with you again 🫶

This beautiful piece is inspired by Calebmc from the mobile game Love and Deepspace. We wanted to draw similarities between this relationship and Elriel’s – the forbidden nature, the yearning, the intensity. Not only is the pose inspired by Calebmc, but we wanted to further allude to The Garden of Eden and the concept of taking the forbidden fruit. Here, Elriel are both holding the apple between them – who will take a bite first?

i'm not saying anyone deserves to be bullied but holy fuck let's use some logic here???

also, acting as if every single fandom controversy is a slight against you personally is only making you look insane. you are not the victim here, the artists are. only the artists are.

on top of that, blaming all of you bad behaviour on amorphous "hormones" is so reductive and perpetuates the stereotype that women are just slaves to their hormones.

(why are we surprised though? reductive takes about women from the CL? the same CL that supported the womb argument and insisted that gwyn isn't a virgin because of the status of her hymen?)

yeah katie was a shitbag, we all knew she was a shitbag and we tried to tell you. not only did they ignore us, they continued to support her until optics-wise it started looking bad for them!
