Right? Thats not giving elains LI. The fact Vassa is shifting his loyalty shows their relationship must be deeper then what everyone else thinks. The whole "mating bond keeps Lucien on a leash" falls apart if he begins to no longer care about the bond with elain which we do see, "im not always here to see my mate".

Y'know what else, anon, that had me raising my eyebrow? Is when Lucien sets his target on Koshei's lake because of VASSA. Not because of his "soulmate", elain, but because of the firebird he went to find.

That is another red flag between elucien because wdym Lucien is targeting Koshei FOR vassa, not Elain. Thats now how a love interest acts.

Gwyn was the vehicle. She was the vehicle for Nesta's growth and healing. For Nesta finding friends. For Nesta accepting herself. For Nesta finding her strength and her abilities.

The story was about NESTA. Not Gwyn. Everything in ACOSF revolved around Nesta. Not Gwyn. Valkyries were discovered by Gwyn, who is the vehicle of delivering information, to NESTA, so Nesta could become one.

Nesta is the Manon of ACOTAR. At best, (and I can't believe I am saying this, but I have no choice) Gwyn is the equivalent of Asterin.

Asterin had her tragic story. Gwyn had her tragic story. Asterin supported, challenged and led Manon to greatness. Gwyn supported, challenged and led Nesta to greatness.

I don't know why this is not crystal clear to everyone, but SJM likes following her own patterns.

- first GA was a canon/set up ship that sunk Elriel, now it’s a “new romance”.

- secondly, Gwyn is not being mentioned in ANYTHING. Nothing. Zilch. Nada. She is a side character. KOH was mentioned over her who has been gone for 2 books now.

- thirdly, if it was ALWAYS Elucien, this shouldn’t be counted as new romance. This doesn’t look any better for your ship. I thought your crusty FB comment was proof that they’re going to happen? Would that not make it an OG ship instead of a new one? Interesting 🧐
