you have to forgive the printer because it's one of the most machine-ass machines we interact with on a day to day basis. that thing says kerchunk. hardly anything says kerchunk these days. you can't get mad at her when she kerchunks up a little.
Crazy that tech has gotten so bad that we're doing printer forgiveness now

This bridge probably doesn’t exist and never did.
It does not show up in this wikipedia list of Algerian bridges. A tineye reverse image search gives us only this image, dated 2025. Google image only gives us, again, this image, and nothing remotely similar.
Something this outstanding, architecturally speaking, and seemingly in use (with two (!) stories for traffic) should be the easiest thing in the world to find. It should be at the top of any “amazing bridges of the world” list. It should not be hard. There should be hundreds of photos from every angle. And yet…
Algerian bridges with a similar profile (all incredibly famous) are:
Sidi Rached bridge
El Kantara a.k.a. Bab El Kantra bridge:
The Cidi M’Cid bridge (in geography, not architecture):
One of the best approximations by ~vibes~ I found was in…Galicia (Spain): Mirador de Gundián (Ponte Ulla):
and this one of three bridges in the Barranco del Mascarat in Alicante (Spain):

i like it when people compliment me. i like it... when people like me. (looks around to make sure nobody is about to shoot me)
The most basic, intractable fact about mental illnesses is that you simply cannot willpower your way out of them. The only exceptions to this rule are the ones I have, which continue to disable me due to lack of determination and other grave personal flaws

Can I give a shout out to a Brazilian photographer I adore? Rafael Freire @orafafreire on Insta, he's a Black Brazilian photographer that mainly focus on portraits of Black models. His photos are amazing. Sadly he lost his original account about a year ago that had much more material, but you can still see many of his pictures on his newer account.
Here's some of his works:
Oh these are PEAK I see why you love him!! They're so colorful and rich and dynamic! The one where the lady holds the flower to the sky feels religious almost, like it's that powerful. Oh I'm happy you shared these, this made my day. Afro Brazilians stand up!!
the fact that i have to be in the “right headspace” to do even the simplest tasks. absolutely humiliating
