My incredibly poorly made creature that i scrapped together in a feverish haze
The latest episode broke the dam thats been preventing me from making fanart since the pilot i love da circus.... i drew all this at work in a frenzied haze.....Jax is my favourite obviously i am very predictable and very susceptible to a man with a complicated relationship to his masculinity. I really like thinking about Jax and Ribbit, when they revealed she's female or at least feminine presenting (i don't really know i havent engaged with anything much outside of the show itself) i was so so happy
I'll probably change my human designs a lot, I'm not entirely satisfied yet...............
Technically this is neither true Melverica or my oc versions of them but a third and worse version i made for the sake of an assignment.... in any case i think it looks kind of nice, so here you are!
Everything was kind of optimised in order to tell a vaguely understandable self contained story within 12 panels with no dialogue so its a little bit nothing burger but i figured i'd post here anyway

Hello everyone its certainly been a while........... sorry about that!!!!!!!! I've been making more Machine Dreaming, verrrrry slowly.... i have the next 2 chapters written, i'm hoping to drop a whole bunch at some point. I will say that spiritually they are kind of ocs to me now, given that the names are genuinely the only things connecting Melvin and Erica to the source material. Oops! I also have a bunch of art i made of them for uni that i'll slowly post :-) if youve stuck around THANK U I LOVE U the 3 comments on machine dreaming are genuinely keeping me going LOL thank uuuu

I also have some rambles on the historical context (Hijabs only really became widely worn in the late 70s, not early 70s, and its highly unlikely a white american man would have known the correct terminology for them) but i feel we can just have some suspension of belief here, considering the elephant in the room

I am not even close to finished chapter 1 of the silly fic and its already exceeded what i wanted it to be (combined with the fact i am so slow with writing because i just rewrite the same segments over and over till i'm completely satisfied) wwwwaow okay i gotta lock in!!!
