To those who escaped abusive homes and are now the "evil child who refuses to see reason" because they are no contact with family, you deserve freedom. You deserve a life your family doesn't have access to. You aren't evil. You deserve love, peace, joy, and comfort. I am so proud of you.

when you have a traumatic childhood hammer everything looks like a social violence nail but some instances are more subtextual and/or unintentional than others, which means that you'll get a lot of odd looks and protests as you ruthlessly bludgeon an apparently unblemished piece of wood. but you can still see the nails.
