“ welcome in, chat! ” you great as your usual viewers start tuning in, the viewer count climbing gradually. your stream today was an interactive event, you planned to rate your subscribers’ favourite songs, they were promoted to send clips / snippets of the songs in your discord chat, and so they did. there were hundreds of clips sent by the time the stream reached it's peak, as you already announced the stream agenda before hand.
you reacted to about 30 songs, randomly selecting clips while reacting to them, giving them your personal critique, praise, or just clowning the song alongside the chat as there had been a few troll clips with dax or KSI songs.
tears ran down your eyes as you laughed at some of the selections, the jokes produced in the chat sometimes far funnier than the songs. then, you clicked a clip that read: nothing like uuu – nettspend.
the caption on the clip was ‘bro really sampled boo’d up 😭🙏’
“alright chat, tell me about nettspend before we react, are they good?” you ask them, cursor hovering over the play button.

you lean in to read the chat, squinting as the stream moves by fast. “ ‘user 67 said he's fine’ should we watch an edit first ?” you ask, to which most of the chat responds yes. you pull out your phone, quickly searching ‘nettspend edit’, you share your screen and play the edit.
the edit is to million dollar man by lana del rey, and it starts off with him saying he's from richmond virginia. “ouu! he is fine. DAMN.” you say, stopping yourself from scrolling any further in case his song pops up. “okay, sexy check done, now let's see if his sound is any good, I have high hopes, you guys must be haters for real.”
you play the clip on the discord, and boo’d up starts, you nod your head, genuinely enjoying the beat and how it transitioned into nettspend’s song, your hopes were indeed high— until after the producer tag. after the first lyric, you fought against your own soul not to laugh, he indeed sounded, to you, as if he was wrestling the beat.
after the ‘slut truck’ line, you could no longer hold back, letting out a loud laugh as you paused the clip. “holy shit, no this is genuinely ass, I thought you guys put me on but what the fuuck. how is he famous? has to be pretty privilege, the fuck?” you say, wiping your tears. “the last line is hard, but slut truck? fuck dude, that was buttcheeks.”
your chat once again explodes with mixture, some people disappointed with your reaction, others laughing with and spurring you on, the stream eventually ends and everything settles, until you receive a text from your best friend.
afted texting semira, you decide to check what was actually going on, your instagram was blowing up, comments a mixture of love, hate, and people telling you to search nettspend up on twitter. which you did.
