Verizon sold Tumblr to Wordpress for 3 million... they originally bought it for 1 billion. Ouch

Though changing hands might be a good thing, though Wordpress has its own share of bugs, being laggy for one, and it looks like they are going to keep the adult content ban.

I’m not sure why since I’ve seen plenty of Wordpress sites chock full of nsfw stuff, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

Wordpress has always been pretty good about listening to its users and if the majority of people want adult content back they might just reconsider.

After all, the tumblr app was originally sited as a 17+ media site. So when Verizon went all “No our Christian values” on us it didn’t make much sense. Especially since we still have a mass of active porn bots and droves of nazis.
