“Many years ago, I went to art school and got my first job as a graphic designer, and it was at a stockbrokers, I was in there to do magazines and portfolios.

On the first day, they called me in and this boy who was the same age as me, 19 or 20, and he had no experience in graphic design. There were two jobs, one to be a graphic designer, and one for an accountancy/admin job.  

They swapped me and him round as it was an all male environment with the graphic designers and they didn’t feel comfortable with a woman. I got this admin job, and they trained him in graphic design as he had no experience.

“I don’t know if you’ve seen the insta page ‘she rates dogs’. That’s pretty much a testimony as to why feminism needs to exist in the first place. I love her content but its really depressing when you see how toxic people are towards women especially and how much they expect certain things from them. My best friend was raped last year. It was a really traumatic experience for her.
