I don’t expect this to be reciprocated, this is simply my preference given the significance of felassan’s relationship to solas.

there is a part of them — the new part, the bit that is concerned with orgasms and having as many as possible to make up the drought of their life before now — that wants to say oh, never mind it, not important, please please please keep looking up at me like that but also please suck on my cock —
but instead khima says, “c'mere, up here with me,” and not just because they still burn hot with embarrassment when they try and say cock. they tug felassan's hair a little more and press their thigh back to jostle him a bit and knock against him with their knees until hopefully he will indulge them with mercy, because they just —
“skip to — to anything, whatever, just not so far away?”
Something soft washes over his expression at the request and he chuckles as Khima jostles him. As if he needs any further encouragement to be closer to them. Felassan kisses their thigh again before he moves, retracing the path he'd made only minutes ago as he crawls back up to grant their wish.
"How's this?" He's close enough to brush his nose against theirs. If he lowers himself just a little more, he could kiss them. And he does, pressing his lips to the corner of their mouth, their jaw. "Better?"

𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑺 𝑯𝑨𝑫 𝑩𝑬𝑬𝑵 𝑨 𝑴𝑰𝑺𝑻𝑨𝑲𝑬. 𝑭𝑶𝑹 𝑨𝑳𝑳 the misery that had come with traveling along the roads for days on end, Ruby would do almost anything to have a solid route through this filthy, mucky, squelchy bog. Mud sucked at her every step, making it even more painful to walk than usual. She'd seen through the enchantment almost instantly, and almost wished she hadn't if only so she wouldn't have to suffer the clouds of biting insects that seemed determined to devour her.
In a rare moment of open fury, she lifted a hand an whispered a cantrip, engulfing the latest swarm in a brief flash of fire, sending them up in a puff of smoke. It was only after she was able to regain her composure that she saw the other person in the bog.
Desperately hoping he would prove to be a friendly face, Ruby straightened herself once more, hands clasped, posture rigid. "One cannot be blamed for losing one's patience, hm?" she sniffed. "These insects are more trouble than a horde of goblins."
An almost mournful expression paints Felassan's features. The body in front of him is fresh — no doubt the work of the Redcaps or one of the many traps the bog is laiden with. An unnecessary death for someone foolish enough to venture into the bog in search of the hag. Then again, so is he.
With a sigh and shake of his head, he turns, and his expression near immediately changes. This is the last place he would have expected to see Ruby, but the relief on his face is obvious to see her... well, alive after their foray into Baldur's Gate ended with an abduction. But he doesn't see the same reflected in her — odd in spite of how often she claims herself to be heartless.
Felassan schools his expression into something more pleasant, testing the waters as he leans against his staff, "One would think a horde of goblins would be as insects for you."
𝑺𝑯𝑬'𝑫 𝑩𝑬𝑬𝑵 𝑾𝑨𝑽𝑬𝑹𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑶𝑵 𝑾𝑯𝑬𝑻𝑯𝑬𝑹 𝑶𝑹 𝑵𝑶𝑻 to speak to Felassan that day to the point that she carried the book with her to the library. It was fine leather-bound codex with off-white, pre-lined pages and a slot in which one might stash a quill or charcoal stick -- a gift to thank him for everything he'd done so far for her and Jane.
As luck would have it, however, he was already between the aisles when she arrived. Ruby didn't have a chance to stash the journal before spotting him, which allowed her to make her decision easily enough and approach him with a polite nod. "Good morning," she greeted in Elvish, then continued in Common, "I was just thinking of looking for you. Are you well today?" The stiffness of her word choice was too great of a tell for her tastes, betraying the hint of nerves, but it had been a long while since Ruby had purchased a gift for anyone, and she had no idea, truly, if Felassan would care for such a thing at all.
Felassan haunts the shelves of the library more often than one might expect for a Dalish elf in an Andrastian fortress, but never has he cared for the misconceptions of others. And he's come to rather enjoy the company of Skyhold's resident librarian.
His expression brightens when he spots Ruby's approach, setting the tome in his hands back on the shelf as he turns to face her. "Aneth ara," he responds cheerfully. Violet eyes flick to the codex she carries, noting the tension in her words as they return to her face — she always carries herself with a carefully maintained air of dignity even amongst the shemlen that few else would even notice anything amiss.
"Oh, you know," he says with a shrug, cheeks dimpling, the words less an answer than the playfulness in his tone. Felassan's head tilts to the side curiously. "And why were you thinking of looking for me, I wonder?"
