Rant session. Even after all these years, Sasuke is still one of the saddest characters I’ve ever come across.

Legit breaks my heart into a thousand pieces. You cannot convince me that he’s a whiny , emo bitch.

Sometimes I wonder if me and other people were watching the same show? I’m gonna lay out some statements that’ll probably get me some strong hate, but I just can’t keep it inside of me any longer!

First of all lets start with Itachi. He is not a hero, he’s a psychopathic piece of shit.

Sasuke was letting go of his hate with team 7, an agenda which Itachi programmed into Sasuke when he was 7 or 8 years old mind you, then dear older brother had to reprogram it into him again at age 12 FOR NO FUCKING REASON! I will die on this hill!

If we can give courtesy and sympathize with Sumire, we can do the same for Sasuke.

Do I also need to remind you that Itachi made Sasuke relive the massacre for 72 hours a half million times?

That Naruto had to find Tsunade to get him out of that state? Do you realize he could’ve been trapped in that nightmare forever?

Itachi was also a nationalist who completely disregarded his clan’s systemic oppression and! Don’t give me this bullshit about Itachi doing it to protect Sasuke. So, he can slaughter his entire clan, but he can’t take his little brother and run?

And by the way the Uchiha chose not follow Madara and were framed for the Kyubi attack, which they wanted to help stop but were not allowed to by Danzo and were subsequently pushed to the outskirts of the village and put on 24/7 surveillance.

Even their coup was planned to be bloodless!

Sasuke was a happy kid! Itachi himself said his brother is a “white paper”. Like how manipulative can you be ?

We see this in Sasuke until this day unfortunately! And thats the most heartbreaking thing for and drives me absolutely mad!

People telling him he should never be forgiven, he took it on. He has never forgiven himself. I’m convinced he distanced himself from his family because he thinks he doesn’t deserve happiness.

Itachi and the previous Hokage told him the Uchiha is cursed, so now he’s going to let the clan die. He’s only had Sarada and isn’t planning to revive the clan.

He was told Itachi was a martyr , he took on Itachi’s identity in a pathetic servitude role for Konoha if you ask me.

Sasuke has been getting manipulated since he was 7 years old by Itachi, then later on Orochimaru, then Obito.

His only reason to crash the 5 kage summit was to kill Danzo, which resulted in the death of many Samurai, which he’d told to step aside if they wanted to live.

And by the when I saw all those Uchiha eyes on Dazno I lost my shit. I can only imagine what Sasuke was feeling.

Because was anyone going to give him justice? Fuck no. The Uchiha files remain sealed in Naruto’s era and the Uchiha are an afterthought and Konoha never took accountability for the tragedy.

He did come dangerously close to destroying Konoha, but stepped aside once he got those flimsy speeches from Itachi and the past Hokages.

I just think the writers pushed themselves into a corner. It was never convincing. A more realistic portrayal is Eren Yeager. As much as I love Sasuke, it would’ve made more sense if he died instead of this sad character washing.

Last thing, it absolutely unravels me how Sasuke almost never talks about his clan. I wish Naruto could encourage him to do so and remember them with love instead of the contempt that bled over from Itachi.

I don’t think people realize how broken Sasuke is.

He is like this robotic weapon that’s been gaslit to serve and forced itself to live only for that purpose in self punishment.

Itachi tried to use Shisui’s eye after his death to get Sasuke to become a ninja for the.

Itachi viewed Sasuke as a tool! Only for Sasuke to end up being one anyways by his own merit 💔

In 80% of the fics I read Sasuke is an arrogant shitty asshole just for the sake of it and Naruto is this person that can do no wrong, even though if you ask me, a true friend wouldn’t be as passive as Naruto is towards a tragedy like Sasuke’s. Trying to talk him into getting over what happened to please others at the expense of glossing over his friend’s pain.
