The two of them did seem quite comfortable with your visit, but they clearly acted like the couple who lived there while treating you like a guest. But that made you feel quite uncomfortable -- and there was never a hint that they had even considered the possibility of you moving back in right then. And so you were finally in the position of leaving after a couple of hours -- saying your goodbyes to the two of them as they stood together at the front door, with your friend's arm around your wife's shoulders as if THEY were the married couple and you were just a friend.

And it was then only a couple of days later that you learned from another friend that your wife and your best friend had now started socializing and going places as a couple, and it turned out that some of your friends (and couples who were friends of you and your wife) now thought that the two of you had formally separated and that she was now really living with your best friend.

Eventually -- after almost three months of this arrangement had elapsed, you dropped by again -- expecting this time that it really was time for you to move back and for him to move out. But when you talked with your wife, she rather quickly stated that she thought your friend need some more time before having to live alone again -- so she thought that you should plan on at least another three months of living at his place while he was with your wife.

You were taken aback by hearing that -- and unsure whether to disagree or complain or not. After a moment of silence, you finally just said "Yes -- if you think that's best" which made your wife smile, and she replied simply "Yes -- I'm sure it is". But you then asked, rather meekly:

"Would it be OK if I came in to get some more of my clothes. If I'm going to be at his place for three more months, there are some things I'll probably be needing."

Your wife smile, and laughed at your request. "Yes, of course, hun. But there's not much of yours up in the bedroom. I moved almost everything into boxes in the basement so that there would be plenty of space for his things in the bedroom."

At that point, you went into your house and down to the basement -- and then, after retrieving what you thought you needed from there, you did go up to the bedroom to see if there was anything else there that you might need. As you walked in, what you noticed almost immediately was that your wife had changed the pictures in the room -- removing all the pictures of you and of the two of you together. Even your wedding picture was gone from the wall. And now, instead, on her dresser, and on what seemed entirely now to be his dresser, and on the wall were pictures of your wife, and of him and of the two of them. Seeing the look of shock on your face when you noticed those changes, your wife laughed and said that she had done that so that he would not be constantly feeling that he was in another man's bedroom -- she wanted him to feel comfortable while he was living there feeling that it was now HIS bedroom with her.

Then, as you were about to carry your things to your car, your wife stopped you.

"Just a sec, hun" she said. "Before you go -- what I was also thinking was what a nice gesture it would be if you were to leave your car her for him to use, while you start using his. I know how much you love your car, and how nice it is, while his is pretty small and old -- so I'm sure he would appreciate being able to drive yours for as long as he's living here. It actually does kind of make sense, doesn't it?

And I also need to tell you that since he's going to be living here with me for a few more months -- I put his name on your swim and tennis club membership for this summer in place of yours. It will be good for him to be able to get a lot of exercise -- to be able to go over to the pool with me like you and I would do most days all summer. And he's a really good tennis player, so your tennis team is quite pleased to have him playing for them this summer instead of you. You understand, don't you hun? I mean -- you can just go to the Y or some place like that -- OK?"

What could you say -- or do. Your wife handed you the keys to his car, and you gave her the keys to yours, and then you drove off.

It was almost exactly two months after that when you got an email from your wife -- after having no communication with her at all since your visit. She had sent you an email, and when you saw who it was from, you got excited, thinking that it must be a message saying that it was time for you to come back home and for your best friend to leave. But that wasn't what the email said.

"Well" you tell her "they do seem to like to tease me a lot. So, it's pretty common for one of the guys to say something like "You're really lucky to have such a pretty and sexy wife" and then they all laugh."

"But what's worse" you continue "is when your boyfriend talks about things that you two have done on dates -- the restaurants you've gone to and those sorts of things -- right in front of me. And he also sometimes talks about the travel plans that you two have -- and everyone knows that when he says something like "we're planning to go on a romantic cruise next month" that the "we" he is talking about is him and you. So yeah -- that can be really humiliating, so I usually just look down while they say stuff like that."

"And even if he doesn't mention anything on his own, there's always a good chance that one of the other guys will ask him -- right in front of me -- "how's your girlfriend these days?" -- at which point they're all likely to laugh at my expense. And when he answers, there's a good chance he'll say something about how great the sex is with you -- which then brings on even more laughter."

"But maybe the most humiliating was just the other day. It was just me and your boyfriend and he took me to Victoria's Secret with him to help him pick out some sexy lingerie for you. You know -- the sheer nightie he gave you yesterday before your date. "And I don't know if I should tell you this" you continued, "but anyway -- while I was helping him pick out the nightie for you, at one point he said to me that he didn't think it would be very much longer before he really takes you from me -- and he said I really should start to think about moving out so that he can move in with you and not have any awkwardness of having me around at all."

She saw his messages…and left him on “Read” for the rest of the weekend.

Tonight promises to be the night you have dreamed about ever since your wife first cuckolded you.
